Simply the best tuner !!!

Best tuner pedal!

This is the best tuner pedal I've had, has buffer inside which helps a GREAT deal! If this one breaks I gona have to re-order a new one instantly! I would recommend this for anyone!

Best. Tuner. Ever.

This tuner is the best one I've ever had, hands down. The display is bright and easy to read regardless of lighting conditions, and the polytune functionality makes it a breeze to quickly check which strings if any may be in need of tuning. I've ditched all my other stomp pedals after moving thoroughly into the digital realm, but I won't get rid of this one until possibly an even better edition shows up, but I don't see it happening as this does exactly what it's supposed to, nothing more, nothing less.

Durable, Precise, and Roadworthy

I've been using this tuner for a couple years before buying my own. I tour in a band that's on the road for 50+ gigs a year and this little guy is up to the challenge. I've seen this thing dropped, stomped on, spilled on by all manner of things, and frankly just manhandled... you name it, this tuner can take it in stride!

One of the best things about it is how well you can fit it to your personal needs. I use mine pretty much how it came out of the box, our bassist uses the "always on" function for live tuning, and the singer/rhythm player uses it as a mute when he decides to jump down into the crowd. It performs just as well on battery as plugged. I could praise this thing all day but here are some pros/cons:

- "Plays well with others" (as in pedals and effect)

Cons:

- Easy to drain batteries if not careful

- "Polytune" function not 100% useful/accurate in on-stage situations

- Some latency in pitch detection in lower register guitars

Love the different tuning mode options, extremely accurate and really clear screen both in dark rooms or even under direct sunlight! Little tc miracle

The best pedal tuner

It's simple and easy to use, accurate and the display is visible on dark stages.

Polyfonic tuning is extremely helpful for fast tuning and checking live between songs.

The included buffer functionality is a nice bonus.

Very Accurate

It does what is expected from a tuning pedal.

The tuning accuracy is on point, as is the build quality. The note tracking is really quick, even in the polyphonic screen. I have no problem reading the led screen on stage, even when a bright stage light reflects on the screen. the power/dc out is very usefull for powering another pedal, since a tuning pedal taking up a spot of your power supply is a bit useless. The inbuilt Buffer works like a charm. The treble in the signal keeps preserved a lot better when using long cables.

I'm very satisfied by this product, and would recommend it to everyone.

The best

Best tuner pedal on the market. Offers everything you might need.

My only complaint is that it runs on battery power even when you plug a 9v DC adapter in. You still have to unplug the input jack to stop draining the battery.

Great tuner

All you can ask of a tuner. Visually, it's very clear and easy to read, both in dark room and light rooms. It feels solid, and it does its job perfectly. Recommended.

Superb

Poly does the job perfectly. Fast, accurate, and easy to work with. Display is visible in all circumstances and you are not getting lost while playing in a dark setting. Recommend it if you are into a polychromatic tuner.

one of the best purchases

I think the PolyTune 3 comes with great value for money. Very quick response so you can tune during small pauses on a gig, or between songs quietly, the screen indications are very clear in a dark room - stage, plus the buffer is a nice addition if you are using a long cable. I think I made one of the best purchases ever with this one.

Accurate tuner

Very accurate tuner I could instantly tell after plugging my basses in where the intonation (i.e. String length) was incorrect, small bridge agustment and everything ok. Very easy to understand intstuctions and very clear visual display,top product

Well built tuner pedal with everything you need

I have nothing to complain about, and only good things to report!

I have tried several tuners with my 5-string bass, but none are so good at detecting the B (H) string as the PolyTune 3.

The display is bright enough for me to see in daylight and darkness, and is easy to read.

There is a dip-switch that enables true-bypass or the Bonafide-Buffer (Bonafide-Buffer also exists as a separate pedal, if you're not looking for a tuner).

There is also a setting to switch the mode between guitar and bass.

I also have an electric 6-string cello, whose strings are also easily detected by the Polytune 3.

In my pedal-chain, it is the first pedal - as far as I can hear, I have noticed no degradation or change in the sound whatsoever. To me, it sits transparently, being a wonderful silent partner enabling me to produce pleasing sounds with my band :)

Excellent

I replaced a Polytune 2 with this one and I am very happy with the upgrade. I got it because of the buffer (i set the switch to have it always on) and I am very pleased with the sound improvement. Apparently, my ~6m cable was losing a bit of high frequencies and the buffer helped restore them - you can actually hear the difference.

As for the tuner itself, it is more reliable than the Polytune 2 I had. Probably it was that specific product, but in my previous tuner, the low E string would vanish quickly from the screen when tuning all strings at once. On this one it stays on like the rest of the strings and it is very accurate.

You can't go wrong with this!

I've tried a couple of tuners so far but this one beats them all hands down. And I'm not talking about this "Polyphonic tuning" which is a nice gimmick but of no real value. I've never even used the buffer feature so far, which of course is a great bonus for those using long cables. But the chromatic tuner itself is just great! I could pay more just for the chromatic tuner, even if the other features were unavailable. It's fast, accurate and has a true bypass circuit.

Overall, I'm totally satisfied with this purchase.
