Useful and Robust

If you own a VoiceLive and need extra functions or (as I did) have the need to have another set of effects on the other side of the stage, that pedal will just do the work. You can assign any effect and step to any of the three buttons on the switch and just stomp it like it was a racist head.

It's very easy to set up, just connect it to your helicon device and automatically it will add the switch option on your device menu. Plug & play. A Jack cable is provided so there's no need to buy any additional stuff.

I don't think it has cons, but to mention one, the cable included is very short so if you perform on large stages you'll need an extension or just a longer cable.

Great addition to the processor units

I bought one to use with my TC-Helicon Perform-VG and it's amazing. The pedal unlocks the true power of the vocal processor unit.

Pros:

- Made of metal (good quality)

- Good weight (not too heavy, but stays in place)

- Easy to connect and use

Cons:

- Nothing really

Great switch pedal to go with TC-Helicon units.

Feels and looks indestructible but only time will tell

As other people I did not really welcome the thought of stomping on my Voivelive3. So this was the answer I was looking for.

This weighs like a brick and is built like a tank. Nice smooth operation switches and handy that it uses a standard stereo jack cable to connect to the TC Helicon units.

It is easily configured in the TC Helicon products and set to latching / non-latching.

All in all, very happy with the purchase and based on the quality of the unit, hopefully should last a very long time.

Highly recommended

The Excellance of TC Helicon

I bought the switch three to use with my play acoustic processor. This unit is robust and manufactured to the highest level. As you would expect from TC Helicon

Does what it is supposed to do

Nice pedal that does what it is supposed to do: integrate with the voicelive touch (1 or 2) and stop/start playback or recordings of loops. Unfortunately these devices don't listen to start/stop messages over midi so this is a must for guitarrist or anyone not wanting to puch a button to start/stop a loop.

Interesting switch

I had the possibility to use this switch with my TC-Helicon Voice Live Play Acoustic.

It provides extra confort in using many functions of the signal processor, in particular regarding the loop functions. It could be a little bit heavy to carry, but it has a very good build standard.

Does its job perfectly

Not much to say here - it's a switch. The build is solid and sturdy. The cable is detachable, which is a plus (I've seen some Marshall footswitches with fixed cable).

The switch has 3 buttons - TonePrint on/off, TonePrint 1/2 and Mute. All work as expected.

A downside can be that there is no indication of which button is pressed.

Brilliant for my TC Helicon!

I have a TC Helicon Voicelive GTX Pedal with a looper feature. I bought this pedal so that I can use the TC Helicon looper separately from the pedal (as you need to do double clicks or press 2 buttons at the same time on the TC to access the looper), which means you can use the harmoniser features quickly, and have the looper pedal separate. It also adds an extra 3rd pedal key to use the "undo" feature. Brilliant pedal, good quality, and I am sure it can be used with other features with keyboards etc.

TC Electronics Switch 3

I bought this as an optional extra when I bought a TC Electronics BG250, and it does what it says on the box which is

- button 1 switches on/off the effect currently loaded and set into toneprint 1

- button 2 switches on/off the effect currently loaded and set into toneprint 2

- button 3 is the mute switch

I have used the combo on a number of gigs but have not had need to use the footswitch.

So yes it is good, but do you really need one - I don't

a must have for a TC user

I use this with a TC BG250 bass head. This allows the tuner and the toneprints to be selected by foot while playing. I no longer carry a tuner or pedals as this allows me to use the amp in the same way, I can mute for tuning and switch on the chorus or drive toneprints as I need them. I could not go back to using the head without it. The switch itself is very sturdy with it's metal case and three rugged metal footswitches. My only gripe is the TRS cable to link the switch to the head is a little short but if you own a TC head or combo it is a must have

Errr - it's...

.... a footswitch? It does - actually do what it says on the box!

Well made - nice fell - I rekon it'll take a fair bit of abuse.

Lead aint so hot - a bit short and the cable aint very pliable if you see what I mean.

Otherwise - good value and does the job.

Regards.

Very easy to use

This little Switch 3 makes life with the VoiceLive Touch much easier

As a working musician I use this for live gigs with a band and as a solo artist.

Frees up my hands for playing haromica or guitar

Good strong build quality that can take a few knocks as most working band equipment does

Make sure you buy this...

I bought the Vocal unit and wondered if I was wasting money on this extra accessory but it has been a godsend as it frees my hands up and I can switch patches or turn on or off the harmony with just a tap of my foot. The chassis is rugged, the switches are quality and there is one stereo jack cable which couples this to the VoiceLive Touch Unit.
