I've been gigging with it for 3 years

From bars and clubs to open air festivals. Never had a single issue. I love having control over my effects and it makes my vocals sound amazing. Buy with confidence!

Best Vocal Processor for the price

Everything is good enough, except for one not-so-good aspect, which may or may not be a no-deal depending on your goals.

The phantom power is not 48v, it's just 24v, and some inline preamps such as Tierra audio flavors or cloud lift and some mics will not work correctly with the 24v phantom power provided.

Otherwise, best for the buck.

Great bit of kit

I’m pro sax player and needed something easy small and cheap to use on gigs with DJs ...

Works great with sax and flute!

Does exactly what is promised

I watched some vids at TC hompage where they demonstrated it, and it does that ! That?s what i like about TC Helicon products. Really robust design and easy to use out of the box. Just plug it in and you?re good to go.

It doesn't get easier than this!

I have a Bose L1 Compact which has a single mic input. I wanted something to handle tone and effects for gigs where I am the only singer and I don't want to take a mixer with me. This is the solution! It's not complex, you don't have to pay around with lots of controls, just plug in your mic and sing. For talking between songs, where the effects need to be switched off, just hit the foot-switch. It really is a simple thing to use.

Con (minor!): I have this mounted on my guitar pedal board and it needs a strong, consistent power supply, (>300 ma) which most pedal power units can deliver but if you have other digital pedals, make sure that you have enough juice to power everything.

a must have!

I play and sing main vocal and believe you me if you are in a cover band - hard and r&r for 2 hours - non stop, having to belch you guts out in front of a bunch of back-yelling m*f*rs, you would appreciate the Mechanic!

Does what much chubbier and complex tech does, with one very important difference - you hook it up, adjust the mixer preamp, according to the room and you're good to go! More 'verb? = 2 secs (just to bend down and touch the dial) - does bring some value, at least in my book.

Since I got it, I can now talk normal on the day after the show.

Just get it!

The only con: power! Haven't tried it with batteries yet and don't plan to, but baring in mind that it requires more than 500 mAmps, you need to plan that in your pedal board! I use a dedicated PSU for it and have no problems, but would have loved to have been able to not carry it around (the PSU that is). ... yeeh... other than that - it's a must have.

Fantastic pedal

Has all the vocal sound effects I need! Well made, easy to use with 2 x Mike cables to complete the connection between Mike and mixing desk. Like that it can improve your tone so well. Love the 50' slap back sound on old rock songs, and for ballads, the hall reverb is especially useful.

Wish I'd thought of buying one of these years ago?

It's [email protected] brilliant!

A must buy....
