Much less noisy than before

Using it with a rubber pad kick tower, this is so much quieter than the beaters I had before. My neighbours seem happy with it.

My favourite beater

It's just the right balance between normal hard felt beaters and the fluffy bombers. You get a decent attack but also a nice soft boom at the same time. It's also quite small and light which I like and the colour makes your kit look funky. Super nice.

Great for Electronic Drums

I bought this beater 3 years ago for my Roland TD-4PK, which has a rubber kick drum trigger (not mesh). It made the kit a lot quieter, my neighbor was happy. Good feel too. You will need to up the sensitivity/volume of the trigger on the drum module if you were using a felt of plastic beater previously. That is handy enough though. I just bought a second one as I wore out the first. But three years is great for a beater of that a low price (I do play heavy and a lot). Well recommended.

Great

Looks like well basically just a tennis ball on a metal stick :) Great quality tho I use it for replacing my Millenium MPS-850 E-Drum Set stock drum beater to make it less noisier pros: + works good + decreases noise level + doesn't really decrease bounce as much as you could expect (softens them a little bit) + good quality + easy to install cons: - looks funny, oh wait, that's also a pro :) - doesn't make bass drum completely quiet In general great beater. I recommend it for buying if you want to make you e-drum set to be a little bit quieter and to last longer

Very good for rock/metal drumming

I bought this beater to play with less noise on my drum set. I think the product is aimed at mesh head kick pads, in order to decrease the damage done to the mesh, but this beater did the trick for me. The reverb from the kick drum has increased, the speed of drumming has increased and the overall noise coming from the kick pad is less.

Quiet beater, not suitable for mesh head without patch

It's a nice beater, quiet and well built. It's not suitable for mesh heads without patch, since it will act as a felt beater. I think this one is a bit quiet than the Roland KDB-200.

A must have for E-Drums with mesh heads.

The beater is soft, light and nice in touch. Perfect for E-Drum kits with mesh heads. The beater is silent comparing to the other beaters with for example felt or plastic beating surface. In conjunction with TDrum Protection Dot Bass Drum works the finest.

Very silent

These really knock down a surprising amount of noise usual beaters normally produce when hitting the mesh head. You do have to lay into the pedal a little more, because the Triggerball isn't as heavy as regular beaters, but the benefit of noise reduction and increased mesh head longevity is a great trade-off. And they are real lookers.)

OK

Very soft. Very quiet and small enough to use two, if needed, for double pedal

Yes its Orange so it must be for 2Box

I'll come clean I bought this just because it co-ordinates with my orange 2box kit.. vanity thy name is 2Box addict. And yes it does appear to be a bloody tennis ball on a stick LOL. But it works great with the 2Box kick drum pedal . I have seen comments about fluff being caught in mesh heads.. but I can honestly say tha I havent had this happen to me. Lets be honest the 2Box trigger on the kick drum pad is very sensitive so you dont need to hit it with Thors hammer to get a big sound... you can alter the dynamics and sensitiviy within the 2 Box unit so this works as well as my other hard beaters. I dont do very fancy footwork and I dont use a double pedal so I cant really comment if this softer unit hinders bounce. WORKS FOR ME ! Thats all I can say ... !

Tdrum triggerball

Used on a converted Mapex Saturn kit with heads from 682 drums, I've found the triggerbal to be quiet & durable, while well priced. The responsiveness is good and I would recommend to others.
