Fantastic!

Now of course not the best quality in the world but considering the price this mic is excellent. I have used it on sax, trumpet, trombone and on all three it sounds really rather good! Considering the excellent price point what more could you want out of a microphone. It is clean, crisp and clear. I probably wouldn't use this mic for recording purposes however for live work it's quality is certainly acceptable. The clip is a little flimsy but again nothing I can't live with considering the price. Overall I would strongly recommend this microphone for anyone. Our band own five of them now, what more can I say. Fantastic!

excellent value

I bought this as a back up multi purpose mic. I gig regularly and occasionaly suffer equipment failures (instrument pick ups or faulty cable). This mic is really handy for such times- I've used is a an acoustic guitar mic (clipped onto the side of the soud hole), as a bodhran (irish drum) mic (clipped onto the body of the drum, and also a banjo mic (clipped onto the struts of the banjo head tighteners). Once in a tight spot I used it as a vocal mic - (it was pretty good just a small bit of popping)

This mic has gotten me out of many a tight spot and for the small price it is worth buying for this reason alone.

Useful little mic

I bought this with half an idea that it might be useful for clipping on to an instrument, as this is mentioned in the product description. In particular, I was thinking of using it on a saxophone. While this can be done, the mic is relatively large - not for a standard mic, such as an SM58, but for a clip-on instrument mic.

This makes the CC75 somewhat more intrusive that you might like for this type of use. The clip is sturdy enough and the mic stays in place on the instrument, although it might slip if you're one of those players that moves around a lot.

Performance is reasonable for the price, and the clip does mean you can locate it in places where a mic stand might be problematic.

Don't forget that this mic needs phantom power!

Summary: Good value, practical mic for situations where a mic stand might not be appropriate.

T Bone mic

I have used the T-Bone for a while now , it really is great value for money, not the sound of a good AKG ... but its less than 1/3rd of the price , its also very robust with a good strong clip , so excellent for picking up a range of acoustic instruments.

clip around the ear..

i play the bodhran (irish drum) although the clip on this mic is a bit flimsy i couldn't clip it onto the rim of the drum as it kept slipping off as with playing this drum you would move around quite a bit, sound quality of the mic itself is fantastic and in my opinion better than some leading brands on the market. unfortunately the clip lets it down, although for me i found a way around that problem by taking the clip apart and using the the parts (screws) bolted this mic permanently to my bodhran and i'am more than happy with this product. conclusion come on t.bone for such a good quality mic sort the clip out!

still 10 out of 10 for sound quality.
