Very useful

Usually good shock mounts are quite expensive. This one isn't (it's the cheapest). I mainly use them for small diaphragm condenser microphones, and while I find the Rode SM4-R by far the best shock mount, albeit quite expensive, it does the job properly.

Works perfectly

It did lack a 5/8 to a 3/8 converter but this is not a problem since i hade one to spare. Just be aware of this.

Otherwise my Sontronics Solo fits just fine.

Works as promised!

Using this shock mount with t.bone MB 60, they work great and the noise from the table doesn't transfer to the mic. Recommended.

Solid and cheap, the outer ring made of metall, some other parts are made of plastic but seem to be solid enough to be reliable. The thing is quite large and visible but still not too heavy. The suspension effect seems to be be good. Probably perfect for more or less horizontally positioned mics of different diameters. I wouldn´t recommend it for heavy mics positioned vertically.

Superb Quality item. Very reasonably priced. Thank you.

Versatile shock mount just try it to see how good it. I'm delighted I purchased this item and would have no hesitation in buying again if needs be.

Strudy and cost effective

Once you put your mic in this it is pretty much secure. The only thing I would improve is the hinge. Which could have been also made out of metal. Great product overall.

How is it this cheap ?!

Comming from similarly priced chinese shock mount, this thing does amazing! Not only does it help with bump pickups when touching the stand, but it also seemed to isolate the bumps comming from the desk that my arm is mounted on.

The screw is wide enough and clamps easily, and the mechanism seems not to require lots of tension to keep in one place.

Build quality:

The outer ring is made out of metal that does not resonate with bumps and the outer rubber bands are thick and are covered in isolation (think: heavy duty hair bands).

The inner ring is hard(ish) plastic and the bands that actually hold the microphone are naked thinner soft "wet-ish" rubber.

The connector is made from thick plastic and the screw hole is made via copper insert.

Everything seems to be made to last, but the only concearn I have are the soft naked inner rubber bands, which might "dry out" after a while... but I guess that's why you get two spares in the box and I'm sure you can buy equivalent bands in any of your local hardware stores.

Conclusion:

If you need a shock mount: GET. THIS. NOW.

Amazing value for money!!

I use this for my AT2020 and thanks to this elastic cords stands well and safe! The only not good issue i have is that it takes me time to fit my mic nice in there, but the specs says max 40mm and my AT2020 is 52mm, thats why. Amazing product for its price!
