Nice little mixer

Pretty nice compact mixer. It did however arrived with one screw cross-threaded and another stripped out. No big deal, its still solid as a brick and is not falling apart. Works great, sound is also good, crisp and clear, can't complain. Would buy it just as a headphone amp if you're using onboard sound on your PC, yes, i'm serious, it gets pretty loud (can smoke HyperX Cloud 2 drivers, so be careful with that volume knob and bass tracks).

UMC404HD connected to this Mixer

I mostly use this for monitoring different sound source. Also my wife use the phones of this mixer to hear our voice when podcasting. While I listened to phones of UMC404HD.

PROS:

The sound is 80-100% near to Midas preamp. I think if you upload in YouTube, which is already compressed audio. It is little difference between the quality of audio interface and this mixer.

If you are planning to use this for monitoring and summing the audio but no need for USB Audio Recording, then good to buy.

Solid Build, not looks cheap at all compare to the mixer I use came from different brand.

CONS:

The line input does not have EQ and GAIN control like the MIC. Only balance and level.

I notice the gain of MIC is not equal to UMC404HD. Which is little headroom.

The knobs slightly wobbly.

Great little mixer

Bought this mixer some time ago to use with a few inputs and found it very handy and easy to put in the kit bag. it has inputs for both microphone, line in, and jacks. the only thing that could be improved is to give it an on and off switch as it is on as soon as you plug it in.

Cheap mixer

Works, but nothing compared to other mixers. Lack of eq. Best thing about it is that it is very compact.

I bought this mixer to connect various sources to my studio monitors (mic, acoustic guitar, output from guitar amp (through Moer Radar) and PC (aux in)). The mixer is very well built. Because it doesn?t have on/off switch I don?t really turn it off. It works 24/7 for a month now without any problems. Some knobs are a bit smoother than other, but for the price it?s quite nice little mixer. The only problem that I found is that the main mix knob also controls the output of the phones. So with the main mix knob turned all the way down instrument/mic input is not sent to phones (only aux is sent to phones).

Small but good

Does the job it requires to do well. Great tool if you are connecting to a system that provides only an input cable and no mixer.

Does its job

I'm using this to merge 2 stereo sound sources into my studio monitors. Works perfectly no real bells and whistles but you wouldn't expect them for the price. Feels fairly sturdy.

*****Amazing value for a desk*****

I purchased this for a very specific purpose. To play in a band using in ears, I needed very quick access to my monitoring system. When I attached this to a Millennium AH-1 Tray onto my mic stand beside my drum setup, it was a match made in heaven!

However the desk has great sound quality and no buzzing issues. The plug is coaxial so minimal disturbance is fantastic. Perfect for drummers needing a close monitoring system for their in-ears.

great little mixer

I bought this to make the difference up to get free postage but I felt my band could use a small easily carried mixer for small gigs where no one understands how to set a band up (we are a small outfit just vocal guitar and dj controller).

IT's really well built, does the job fine and now I fond I use it in my home studio to help route signals to different amps monitors interface etc. and means i have plenty of input options for practicing with multiple instruments.

the first t. product I've bought, it's cheaper than the equivalent behrenger mixer and from the look and feel of it I'm guessing better built

Great little mixer for electronic drum kit

Bought this so I could have my electronic drums & music source as two separate feeds with the output to an active speaker and/or headphones rather than the music feeding into the drum kit & coming out as one signal - means I can control each volume separately. Works great! All knobs & connectors feel sturdy & well manufactured. Power supply connection good - screws in securely. Good basic features perfect for this application. Also had a go with the cd audio out to record to my laptop - great! Only one criticism - the unit has no power on/off switch so you need to turn off at the mains - shame for me it lets the product down - would be so easy to have manufactured it with one! That's the only reason I've marked it down everything else -great.
