Handy switcher

Great box, I got two mounted underneath my desk so I can switch anything in groups, makes life a lot easier specially with lots of outboard gear.

A tank!

I have it on my studio set for more than 3 years already and never had any problem. Works great!

Good stuff. Hard to place in rack.

All good except one. The main cable which comes out of the side instead of the back is a big mistake.

Super useful and uninvasive

A rather simple product, yet very useful for my setup.

Buttons are easily accessible, doesn't take up so much rack space and there's enough space for custom labels.

Useful but low quality

I have one for a few months. I’ve been using the three rightmost sockets to separately power my monitors, racks and console (with a power conditioner on each line). Very convenient and low profile, sitting there in the bottom of the rack.

The quality is so-so at best. One of the switches started to fail to completely disconnect power and I get spurious brief power ups on a couple of devices connected to that socket. Another switch, one of the unused ones, is no longer turning off, it has lost its click.

I find it very surprising that a thing as simple as a switch can fail so ridiculously. One would think that as a civilization we would have solved the problem of reliability in switches long ago. Disappointing.

Problems with quality of switches

Switch 5 of 6 wasn't functioning properly from the beginning. But now it stays in the ON state continuously and can no longer be switched to OFF.

Easy power to your 19 inch rack

It really does what it says on the tin, 6 power sockets which can be individually toggled. Convenient for when you don't need everything to be on at all times.

Pros:

* 19 inch

* Individual switches

Cons:

None so far

good quality to price ratio

I've used this rack to connect 6 different keyboards, I can now switch them on/off from one place individually instead of having to reach to difficult places, with the added bonus that they are all individually protected by fuses.

Good quality case and silent.

A good power source

The power source works properly. The only con I see is that the sockets fit only power plugs because their orientation is oblique and when you want to plug a power adapter it collides with other deeper 19” rack equipment placed below or over it

I use it to have a easy acces to the power of my equipment

A really nice addition to my home studio, now I have quick access in my rack to the power of my monitors (and many other elements) and there's no need to move them to access to the power button, or move a lot of equipment.

Great power rack

Use it for my computer, motinors, lamp and heater. Have no electricity noise leaking into my system and the fuse make it really safe for piece of equiqument. I love it

Nice power rack

Works great - switches are solid and are bright enough to see even in direct sunlight. Very happy. Would buy another If I need more sockets in the future

The t.racks Power MS6

We don?t stop learning from our colleagues' musicians friends.

I was just visiting and working in a music studio in south France and found the t.racks Power MS6 in the studio. Was exactly what I was looking for in order to organize my chaos at home.

What a nice feeling when you just switch the knobs on the t. rack Power MS6 and everything in your studio is on at once.

It would be nice if they would have a Power rack with the possibilities to plug in twelve different devices, in a 19" rack space.

So far, so good!

Great to nice and easy power management in Your rack or studio.

Ok, so I bought this one as replacement after returning other device and I could not be more happy. This works as expected, it does not create any unwanted noises and I can recommend it to anyone who has many devices plugged in and does not want to turn each one all the time. For example I have plugged in

- Torpedo Live

- Clarett 8Pre

- Yamaha HS-8

- Yamaha HS-8

- Guitar Effects Power Supply

I can easily turn any of them individually and I can avoid standing up every time when I want turn on or off my Yamaha Monitors. It helped me organize my cables and power management.

If this device would be broken I would immediately buy second one - that can explain how irreplaceable is this device.

Build quality is good enough :)

Does what it needs to do.

During the wait for a budget sequencer, I am using this at a school setup for instructing people to turn on audio equipment in a reasonable fashion (amps last).

Note that this is a little deeper than the other t.racks power distributor products (unfortunately) which led to some less available racking options.

Very handy and tidy

This is a great way of keeping my home-studio tidy. The main reason I got this was so that I'm sure I'm not wasting power on units that might stay on standby when I'm not using them. And one of the best things is to not have to reach behind my studio monitors to try to find the switch!

My only regret about this unit is that there isn't really any space to label each switch, and the other day I turned the wrong thing off, meaning that I powered something off by accident, causing a loud 'pop' from the monitors.
