a great piece of hardware

does exactly what it takes. very simple configuration. the device looks very high quality

Attention, limiter programming error !

Attention, it is very important !

In the limiter menu, "ATTACK, HOLD and DECAY time" is reversed.

Higher values corresponds to the fastest operation.

This is an old firmware bug that has not been fixed by the chinese manufacturer.

The other features work perfectly,

it took a bit to fully understand how to use it but it's great! there are a few things missing the user manual but it becomes pretty intuitive when it comes o its usability. Totally recommend it!

- Not bad middle of the road piece of hardware for the price.

- Good in 'none heavy' demanding venues

Good for the money, but only that.

This is a simple digital xover filter of "so so" build quiality;

The good:

- It's cheap! and it does what it supposed to withouth hangups. But that's about it.

The bad:

- The metering lights seem very unreliable, it seems like they have alot of "lag" in them

- The display has developed some issue that the letters get all mixed up and strange when you haven't touched any of the controls for a while, this problem came after about 1.5years of usage.

- Not very flexible in/out routing, there are just a couple of routing presets that you can choose from.

- You can't delay the left signal from the right only sub from top.

- The interface is slighly confusing and I keep pressing the wrong buttons even after several years of owning it.

- The parametric EQ are set to fixed bands, so it's more like a graphic eq with adjustable bandwidth than a proper parametric EQ.

I can't really comment on the sound as I havent compared it side by side to anything but I don't experience it as "bad sounding" but I probably wouldn't use it in a studio environment.

I have used this crosover for 3-4 years now, very durable and steardy, the sound is good, many options for using with 4 subs, or 4 tops, or 2 tops and 2 subs.

Simple

Used it for about 3 months now alongside two TA2400s and a E800, haven't managed to use the software it came with due to the RS232 connection, but it didn't take more than an hour to set it up with the console on the front, once you have the hang of it you'll be able to change settings with ease, my only gripe with the spinny wheel control is that you have to be patient with it and spin it slowly otherwise it sends you in the opposite direction you were turning it, but obviously compared to the price of some other units, its spot on, I'd probably recommend using this as a active crossover only and getting another unit for EQ/RTA unless you're able to use the software

very good price and good specification

this is really good for the price I was unsure if it would be easy to use but it is very simple and can be used with a pc to set it up if you find that easier.

Nice password lock feature to stop people messing about with your settings

Low end a bit tricky to use

The dsp can be used for allot of application , but wen it comes to programming the bastard is a pain in the back side , you need a rs232 connection and even then you got a very hard time to get it connected to the pc , and wen you finally do , the communication between the pc and the dsp is very slow . Wen it comes to the buttons from the front side if you want to try that .... let's just say it can be done , but you need nerves of steel .

But once you get it done it will work flawless

Excellent basic unit.

This unit is a fantastic, basic crossover and speaker management system. Its exceptionally simple to use, with Xover, parametric EQ and limiter alongside delays. Happily recommend and buy again.
