Professional, mellow tone!

This G4 ocarina is an amazing buy. The size of this ocarina, is actually quite compact for a G4, as well! It is the smallest and lightest G4 in my collection, while still being comfortable, and easy to grip. When it comes to sound quality, this ocarina sounds mellow and beautiful. It has a slight chippy tone on the higher register, while the lower register sounds very soft and pure. The biggest issue one may have with this ocarina, is the size of the left pinky hole. It is a bit bigger, due to the European style fingerings. If you have very small hands, it may be a bit hard to grip. So a smaller ocarina (like a C3 or G2) might be a bit more comfortable. One huge benefit of these ocarinas is the split pinky hole, making accidentals easier. This is a perfect Alto G ocarina for anyone needing one, or anyone who wants to add another magnificent ocarina to their collection. Aesthetics, sound, and quality are all there. This ocarina comes with a nice big padded case, and a songbook/tutorial. Thanks!

Love this Ocarina

It looks nice, plays nice, sounds nice.

It's my first instrument, and it's been very fun to learn. When the advertisement says "good for beginners", they're not lying: I was playing simple songs with a few days.
