interesting little uke.

this is an interesting little instrument for the price. it looks really cool, and the build quality is good. it’s sound is ok with the strings that it comes with, but it would benefit from a re-stringing, preferably with a low g. i decided it to “frankenstein” it 😱🙂 and re-string it in “fifths” tuning, but in viola tuning, c-g-d-a, a fifth below a violin or a mandolin. it seemed to work well and it certainly has unique sound, when played with a plectrum.
