This is a good instrument

at least for me, who only started Alto Trombone. this Is very good horn for it's price. the slide Is moving smoothly and the instrument has a great resonance. A great instrumet for starting learning the Alt trombone specifically.

Instrument is great!

I have played this instrument for a couple of days now. It is fairly easy to pick up on, you just have to spend to time and effort to figuring out how it compares to tenor. That being said, try to picture it more as a new instrument rather than transposing it from tenor. Case looks great from the outside, but when you open it up it still looks great but the instrument doesn't really fit in there well. You have to push the tuning slide in all the way to fit it in. Overall I think it is definitely worth it to get this compared to the SL-35 because it is a lot nicer of a build, it's still cheap but a lot better quality than the SL-35, and you can have the option for a rose brass bell. One thing I will say before you use it, wash it in the bathtub and use a cleaning snake before use.
