Nothing bad to say about it

A great desk for the price, does everything that it is supposed to do, in my opinion it has the perfect size for a small studio and it contains all the features that someone working in this field will need.

Good desk

I use this desk because i dont have enough room for having a desk and a piano separately and it is very good. Section for cables is good as-well. My monitor sits at a hood height.

Great value desk

I got this desk as my new space was slightly too narrow for my old desk (Fame Workbench).

Took a little while to arrive but the shipping company was excellent - good communication and even delivered up to my flat's door.

Construction wasn't too time consuming or difficult. The only tricky part was adding the pull out shelf.

A lot has been said here about the sharp edges but I would have never noticed them if it wasn't for the reviews - for me it's not been an issue.

I did create a few chips in the edge of the rack areas when lowering down my gear. I'd suggest care when doing so, or better yet add a towel or cloth into the front edge first and then gently pull away when the piece is inserted.

Ergonomically it's much better than my older desk. I'm on the shorter side - 173cm - and the height is just right for me. I had to put the pull out shelf at its highest mounting point though. Even then the bottom of the shelf is just barely above my legs. I can imagine for a taller person this might be an issue.

The space on the desk is great for putting a laptop or other bits as you need them. The monitor stand is a little far away but I installed a gas adjustable mount for it so I can bring it close while I'm working or push it back when I need the area clear for monitoring.

I have a 34inch ultrawide monitor and it just barely fits with enough room for my speakers on the side.

All in all I'm very happy with the desk. Although I was force to get it due to space restraints I'm glad I did as it's an improvement to my work flow over my old one anyways.

Great Studio Desk at a Great Price

It was so easy to assemble the desk, It is at the Ikea level of assembly

if you want to compare.

The only bad thing about the desk is that it was missing 2 little wooden sticks for the key drawer.

They where simply not in the box, but i had some spare ones lying around so no problem.

Besides of that it is a very good studio desk at low price !

I am very happy i bought one.

A great introduction for a professional workspace

For a long time I never had a real professional workspace, I invested into my gear, but never what it stood on.

When I received the ComboDesk everything was very well packaged and delivered, as usual, and it wasn't that difficult for me to set up on my own.

(I did however make a little mistake with the retractable keyboard shelf where the screw wasn't drilled in deep enough and so it would get stuck when expanding outwards and I couldn't fix it any more once the keyboard tray was locked in place, I did find a work around however, that being having it always a little outwards passed that screw, it's a minor hiccup and mostly my own fault.)

I felt for any sharp edges like I read on previous reviews but it seemed they addressed this issue and everything was smooth. The table itself is stable, it feels good and the finishing is nice. The keyboard tray below the desk was a must for me, and it houses a Prophet Rev2 in my studio, it's strong and stable.

My desk houses a keyboard in front of me with a Softtube Console 1 + Fader housed in a wooden frame (it barely fits but it works) behind it, my computer on top and my interface on the right with my mouse. I had space for Ableton Push2 on the left but decided to put that on a extra little table next to me on the right, with loads of space free on the left side of my keyboard for notes and a clipboard with paper for when I'm working on my projects or for any future hardware.

Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and it elevated my home studio to a professional environment which I'm proud to work in, great buy. 4/5!

Best value music desk, sturdy & versitile

I was close to buying the Zaor Miza junior but settled for this instead and I'm very glad I did.

The rack spaces are super helpful and the covers they come with let you use them as regular cubby holes.

Fits perfectly my 5 inch monitors and a 27" screen.

Some people complain the edges are sharp but I think they have addressed this as mine are absolutely fine.

Drawer is decent and doesn't move around while playing keyboard. and legroom with the keyboard at it's second highest point is totally fine.

I think the more expensive desks have more rugged screw points, where disassembling and rebuilding the desk would be easier. I'd imagine the chipboard, while the thickest I've seen, wouldn't last 10+ rebuilds. If that's your thing.

Overall I'd buy this desk again, really happy.

Amazing for the price

I bought this desk to use in my home studio. It is a nice size for a modest setup. The desk is incredibly sturdy for a flat pack item. A display and two monitors fit on the shelf, or two displays if you use speaker stands. The rack space is convenient but it is angled. Which I think I prefer but I previously had a rack shelf that I used to hold hard drives and a USB hub. So I had to make other space available for those. The keyboard shelf is just barely big enough for my big '90's era 61-key workstation. But it holds the weight well and glides smoothly. A newer 61 key or less controller should fit easily. I guess the edges are sharp as other reviewers say but that can be fixed. In this price range nothing else comes close. I'll note I'm in the U.S.A. so comparable desks go for 2x the price. Even with international shipping this was a deal.

Nice desk

Received it in one week after ordering. No damage during international shipping. Assembly was very easy, printed manual was included. Desk is very good looking and sturdy. The keyboard drawer seems very reliable.

However there is one problem after assembly, the right corner of the surface, that connects with the side - it wiggles. It doesn't seem that it is an assembly issue, as there are no screws to tighten this area, only the wooden pins in between the MDF plates. Not a big issue, can be fixed with a little wood glue. Problem exists on one corner only.

Perfect

packed perfectly, i mounted it in 30 min. construction is very solid and stable no resonance at high volume. Its dimension is perfect i can keep up to 6 rack, 2 monitor (speaker) and a 27 inch computer monitor on the little shelve. this is the best desk i work on !

I will preface this review by simply stating that this is a great desk! Without a doubt the best one I could find in this price range.

It has now been used daily for a couple of months, and I’m confident it will hold up for a long while.

There’s a couple of annoyances (which I go on about further down) with the desk, but the pros greatly outweigh the cons. And it looks good too!

I needed a new desk for my home studio and decided on this one because of three things:

I needed a minimum of 4 rack spaces.

I have limited space so I needed something with a smaller footprint that still could accommodate my needs.

I wanted a raised platform for computer monitors.

This one ticked all the boxes and then some.

Let’s go over the pros first:

* The desk is pretty sturdy. It’s not wobbly and it feels like it could take some abuse without falling apart. We’ll see how it holds up in a few years, but for now I’m confident it’ll stay in one piece.

* It’s pretty small in size and will fit in even the tiniest rooms. But with the top shelf, the racks, and a good sized keyboard tray you can fit a lot of stuff on it.

* You can easily fit two medium screens on the top shelf if you have your speakers on stands.

* Since the racks are angled and not flush with the shelf you can place equipment that runs hot on top without worrying about restricting airflow. It’s also more comfortable to reach.

* The keyboard tray can be adjusted for three different heights.

Cons:

* As other reviewers have mentioned, the edges of the desk are uncomfortably sharp. It’s not a dealbreaker, but definitely something I’ll subtract some points for. I ended up putting two layers of gaffers tape over the front edge to make resting my arms on the desk less annoying. * There’s not a whole lot of legroom under the desk. I’m guessing it’s fine for most people, but I’m 190cm and can barely fit my knees under it. I sit just fine as it is, but I’d sit even better if the desk was just an inch or two higher.

* Assembly instructions was a bit unclear. Building the desk wasn’t hugely difficult, but some things could be better explained. As a Scandinavian I’m well versed in hacking together terrible Ikea-furniture, but I predict someone with little to no experience in DIY-furniture assembly will be at least slightly annoyed at times.

* Keyboard tray will not fit an 88-key controller. I don’t play piano, so I don’t care, but YMMV.

So to summarize:

Looks great!

Lots of space for stuff without taking up a whole lot of floorspace.

Some minor annoyances in regard to how it’s made, but the overall build quality is great and it feels very solid.

Great Desk

Perfect for my purpose, somewhere to make music on my laptop (with monitor) And also my CDJ's + DJM700 Mixer.

Was fairy simple to put together (good design), it's sturdy.

I haven't a bad word to say about the product, although ordering from the UK I didn't account for Brexit and there was a 2week delay on delivery and Custom charges to be paid.

A nice studiodesk for the price of an ikea desk

After many years of doing different setups combining different Ikea furniture to use as a homestudio desk i ended up buying this desk since i really like Zaor and allready had their stands.

Pros:

price vs quality

The tilted racks makes the desk keep a low height which is good for acoustics.

Easy to assemble.

Sturdy.

Nice hidden cablemanagement in the back.

The keyboard trey is height adjustable)

Perfect for homestudio with a couple of pieces of rack gear (or without).

Doesnt take up alot of space in your room.

Has alot of workspace.

The desk does not feel cheap.

Cons:

I wish the keyboard trey was a little bit deeper because i use a Push2. its more than enough for keyboard/mouse or most midi keyboards.)

The edges are a bit sharp, but you get used to it after a few days. Its not extreme, but its a thing. I dont notice it anymore, and my cat loves those edges.

Overall this is a terriffic desk and i have allready recommended it to a couple of friends. If i had a bigger room (2,4x3,2meters now) i would probably go for the bigger version only because of 3 extra rack spaces.

Stable, Sharp

This desk is okay, a bit too short and a bit too sharp on the corners to really feel worthwhile, ultimately I wish I would have gone with a more expensive desk. This one digs into the arms.

Low quality table

Came with one defected part. Edges all around are really sharp - not tolerable. Upper part of the desk, which is planned for monitors, is very small to put something expensive there - u can try putting some 200€ thingies on it, but nothing else. Table is pretty low - almost no room to put knees up. Theres is no room to put a subwoofer under the table.

Rack space is nice and the keyboard space almost ok, but other than that - this table is very cheaply made and certainly not worth the money. Would not recommend it.

The desk is nice!

After using this desk for a year now, I can truly say that it is very nice, sturdy and on point with my gear! It's the perfect addition to a producer's bedrooom or small studio set up! Highly recomend it to anyone with small space.
