Excellent cheap tuner

I bought this to throw in my Viola case.

It works well, is easy use and has a nice bright screen. I like the fact you can set the Hz of A as it allows me to easily tune for baroque performance.

A slight quarm is that in louder environments, it struggles to pick up lower pitched sounds. In an orchestral setting it doesn't always pick up my C string.

Good

It works nicely for guitar, but seems to glitch when tuning the 4th string on bass.

Your Best Friend

This chromatic tuner is simply awesome!

Its so portable and it comes with a colorfull LCD display that will make you fall in love with. Very trustfull grip, rotatable screen and very precise. Sometimes takes a lot of time to "think" but when it finally response. It will not disappoint you.

Nice materials, bright display however it takes a long time to tune because of its slow feedback, but all in all it does its job.

Suprisingly good

It is very well made and it compares really well to my Snark tuner. They are very similar, but this one even has many different useful functions such as different tuning options and pitch change. Overall a really good clip on tuner.

easy to use, easy to see, easy to carry.

Nice colour.

Works OK, looks OK. With clip on tuners, its time that says yes or no. this has too many swivels or rotations for me, these work loose and get uncontrollable.

My previous clip on had only one joint with a screw to tighten if it got slack or loose. I like that sort of design, seems to last forever.

So I will know in a year or two how this one holds up to its use.

This is actually better than some more expensive tuners

It swivels every way you'll need to rotate it (more than any other tuner) and it's got multiple settings which seemed very accurate during my first few uses. The bright graphic was very visible in a gig environment and the tuner itself was quick, responsive and very accurate. 10/10 for the price.

why buy the "real" one

Brought one of these just to try out and have brought several more. I have a Snark and a couple of other clip on tuners and this is completly on a par with them. i find it easy to use and accurate ... what more do you need from a tuner

It does'nt make me coffee.

I needed a chromatic tuner with more precision than the tuner in my Line 6 pedalboard inbuilt tuner because i play half a tone down and the pedal only recongnizes the standart tuning and this little thing, clipped in my headstock, allways tells me if i'm in tune on the spot, during rehersal or live.

And it's pretty too ;-)

Durable and Accurate

I use this tuner for bass, guitar and even trumpet and it's absolutely great on all of them. It's fast and accurate, the screen is highly visible too.

Another point is the durability. Other clip-on tuners I used in the past had "ball-pin" like connection with between the tuner and the clip which has always been easy to broke.

But the connection on this one is made with a screw and the ability to move is still there in three axis, plus it's much more durable than the other designs.

Tuner

Easy to use and accurate. Versatile and light it would get top marks but the clip could open a little further to make it easier to clamp to the headstock of my Fender Telecaster. Never the less, it does fit and I am pleased with it.

Excellent little tuner at an incredibly low price. Great value for money.

a little gem

You want a tuner?.....You want cheap?....you just can't go wrong, I mean it is so small it doesn't get in the way, I have it attached to the guitar full time and the guitar hangs on the wall and it doesn't get in the way.... seriously, are you still reading this, add to wishlist or cart, don't waste anymore time. Brilliant, they even provide the battery.

Necessary equipment for all musicians

I really like these compact tuners that work with piezo sensor on vibrations and surrounding loud noises do not disturb your tuner and guitar tuning. Easy to use, good and well readable display which can be rotated or adjusted to preffered angle. I have this item on the neck of my guitar or ukulele all the time and between songs I can easily and quickly adjust the tuning. Price is great as well, highly recommended !

Great little gift for musicians!

This was a perfect little gift for a musician friend of mine who is constantly borrowing mine. He plays bass, and I also mess about a little with the Uke so it's absolutely perfect and very well priced.

Great little tuner

Small, well made and easy to read. Only criticism is the instruction manual has 5 languages but not English. What you would expect from a European company I guess? This is much better than my first tuner. Very easy to use.

great little tuner

I'm a sound engineer and bought this great little tuner for my adult guitarist son - I couldn't resist a play with it before I gave it to him.

We both think it's a great little tuner, inexpensive, accurate, visible in low light.

the dial rotates, meaning you can clip at any angle and rotate the dial towards you for maximum visibility. it slips easily into the pocket - he plays every day, a mixture of bands, sessions and practice and he never leaves for a session without it.

that in itself should tell you all you need to know - professional enough to get the job done, small enough to never forget.

Neat looking but perform poorly

It looks shiny and sturdy! You can tune chromatically!

However, it does not fit the thich head of a classical guitar very well.

It does not pick the vibration very well either. I had to pluck the string really hard for it to detect the note. The lower the note, the harder I had to pick.

It's pretty cheap but not worth buying
