Cheap and Cheerful

Like Ronsil this does exactly what it says on the tin. I have a silly amount of studio gear and as such I am always looking out for the bargain to be had, AND THIS IS ONE!!. I have a multitude of tuners and this one never fails. I even bought a couple and have them laying around the house and studio as when people come for a jam session they like harry Houdini seem to disappear but at the price It not so bad.

Be aware that when you buy this product you are receiving quality. I've tested this against high priced tuners and rig ones and find it to give an accurate reading. the design is robust and I have yet to have one break or fail on me. the battery seems to last forever. you will not be sad you bought one or five of these tuners and that's a promise : )

Really good product for the price!

Works like a dream. I have tried it with acoustic and electric guitars, and it is fast and simple to use, every time. I have also compared it to mic based, line based and amp based tuners, and it has simply been the easiest and most accurate to use. I wholeheartedly recommend the product.

Update 14.11.2017:

I dropped one from 1m to a carpet and broke the power button (bottomed out). So handle carefully. Otherwise 5/5.

Update 20.8.2018:

Second one has not been dropped nor mishandled, but the display has been acting up for a while now. Dropped rating to 2 stars because of weak durability.

Amazing

Extremely sensitive and user friendly tuner. Flashing lights and quick response helps with fast tuning. Comes with a battery and clips on nicely with no issues. The rubberised matt also feels great and high end. The only tuner you will ever need.

Easy to use and long lasting baterry.

For the money it is easy to use and has a long lasting baterry.

So far used it on guitar, multiple basses, and an ukulele.

Excellent, highly flexible with a lot of functions

This tuner has very nice casing and soft surface. It is very easy to turn and lean it into any direction, so it can be clipped on in many different ways and the indications are easily read. All the functions work perfectly. Rubber pads protect the instrument when attached. Battery consumption is relatively low. The clip and positioning gears are very durable, even with intensive daily use on several instruments.

Brilliant little tuner ! Small, precise, easy to use and so cheap ! What's not to like ? Buy one now ! You will not regret it !

Bright display, good tuning accuracy.

Good cheap tuner with bright and easy to read display. It is not as accurate as a strobe tuner, but it gets pretty close. The delay between detection is small, and the fit and finish is good with the rubberised feel.

Pros: Good display brightness, short delay between detection, fit and finish.

Cons: clamp could be stronger.

great tuner!

this is an excellent little tuner - looks good and does the job well. i use it as a guitar tuner but it can be used for a variety of stringed instruments. the chromatic setting allows me to check tuning anywhere on the guitar neck.all in all i am well pleased!

Good tuner

I bought this tuner to help my 6 years old daughter tune her violin properly. Good quality tuner, quite easy to use.

What an amazing little gem. I?ve used several different tuners through the years, noting earlier tuners where a bit clumsy in comparison. This one is such a pleasure to use. One can not make any mistakes with tuning, clearly visible. I know that some guitarist like to keep their tuner on the head stock while playing, personally I find this be a bit annoying. The other key feature, for me, is this tuner can be used with additional instruments, of which I play, so a bingo for me in that regard. I can not see any draw backs; for the price this is a must tuner for all musicians.

Good tuner

It has more features than necessary...at least for me. Very easy to use, good display.

However it sometimes gets confused and cant find the correct note so I have to play the string a few times. It is sometimes too exact so it will maybe jump between two pitches a lot. That can be annoying.

For the price - no brainer :-)

Small, portable tuner

I bought this tuner for my ukulele, as I needed something small, light and easy to use, and I have to say that it does the job... most of the time.

The tuner is easy enough to use. It only has a couple of buttons to move around the modes, etc... For what I want it, it is just clip in, push the button, tune the hell out of those strings and keep on playing.

My big downside is that it is not as precise and accurate as other type of tuners. If being exactly in tune every time is one of your main concerns, you may want to look for a different gadget, specially if your instrument can be plugged in.

On the other hand, it gives a lot of bang for the buck. It is super light, discrete, easy to read even in the dark, power efficient, and it works with a good amount of instruments.

I like the finish of it too.

Update: I have just taken 3 stars away from the quality, as I accidentally dropped the tuner from a very low height (about 50cm) on a wooden floor and it stopped working completely.

CTC-50 Red is a stylish little tuner that functions really well!

It can easily be mounted to accurately tune the guitar.

It's screen is designed nicely and can be read with ease.

It's clamp doesn't leave any marks on the instrument.

So far there is nothing to dislike about it. It's easy to use and gets the job done!

Amazing gadget

This tuner is very versatile, very small, very easy to read and aesthetically pleasing. It is very accurate and quick and gives very fine grained feedback of how below or above tune your instrument is. There are no drawbacks. It works well even when there is a bit of noise since it measures based on vibration, this is a big plus ! I use it for guitar but it can be used with a lot of instruments.

Simple, easy to use, good value for money

AS the heading says, it is really easy to use and costs nothing. Had no problems with tuning or battery durability like some of the reviews, but hey, you can get cheap replaceable batteries from most DIY stores and even Ikea. Excellent VFM. Only minor issues is the pivot is not quite as tight/robust as it could be but doesn't affect its use.

Just great value

This does exactly what we wanted it to do, my partner uses it on her harp, I have used it for guitars, it is fast and accurate, and very easy to use. The lights are bright and easy to read. No hesitation in recommending this - cheap enough to have one for every instrument!

AWESOME

I was hesitant to buy this tuner as I was looking at other one more expensive option 3 times the price. I cant see the different. For the money it is incredible product. What a good times we live in to be able to have such a slick product for so little.

Cheap, easy to use and does it's work well

Easy to use

This tuner is excellent value for money. I ordered a bunch of them last year for my violin students. Simple to use and to calibrate. Can't go wrong for 6.90.
