Thomann CTG-10 Clip Tuner 1-star Reviews
Rubbish
Totally insensitive. Replaced with a D’darrio which is excellent.
Totally useless for D or lower tuning
Tried it today first time. I play in D standard. It doesn’t sense the F on the third string. Jumps between G and E (WTF?). And the two lower strings isn’t even detected.
Don’t but this shit.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY
Very very cheaply made and unreliable. The button broke immediately and the tuning is unreliable and it barely picks up a signal
Rather useless tuner
An incredulously pointless tuner. I have a dreadnought, so it's not like there's any lack of resonance on the guitar. Tried clipping it everywhere, even directly on the sound hole. Yet, it somehow doesn't pick up on anything unless I'm hammering on the strings. Works especially dreadfully with lower notes. At an age with many app alternatives for tuning instruments, I'd advise you to keep your money in your pockets or spend more to get a decent tuner.
Unreliable
Simply doesn't pick up the strings. I had another simple clip on tuner for years, which worked flawlessly.
broken
was broken when delivered. no idea if its due to transportation or manufacturing
Feels cheap
I would not recommend this Tuner for a classical guitar. It is everything but accurate. Frustrating and completely useless.
Cheap but not chearful
If it worked it would be great, but there is a problem with the battery contact. Unfortunately doesn’t work most of the time. Instead I am back using my mobile app to tune my guitar and bass which is free and this tuner is in a draw somewhere... waste of money...
Buy better
Don't skimp on something so important! Even the expensive tuners are pretty affordable.
This tuner couldn't find a note when trying to tune the A or low E strings.
I gave up on this after a few days and bought a Boss clip on instead which has worked perfectly since purchase..
Absolute garbage.
I'm surprised that it even turns on, because that's all it does.
Cannot pick up a single note and I do have a band member that can back me up on this, because his was the exact same.
Buy a tuner pedal, not a clip on.
Bud product
Energy drinker
Bad sensitivity
Many times it crash
When it's loud on stage is comfuses and can't tune
Unreliable
I found the tuning unreliable (even when moving the tuner closest to the relevant part of the headstock).
I have ended up using a tuning app on my phone instead, which seems to work much better.
Simply not worth
Doesn't work good, Not detecting correctly and uses battery wich have poor connection so it loose power on screen and... Choose something else.
