Thomann CTU-10 Ukulele Clip Tuner Reviews
Perfect
It makes its job as it should
Its bothersome
You can tune your guitar guitar but its inaccurate. Spend a little more to get a better one.
Nice little tuner
I ordered a concert ukulele so when I saw this little tuner at such a bargain price it was a bit of a no-brainer and I put it straight in the basket. The ukulele and tuner arrived today and in a matter of minutes I was having my first strum. I put it on the chromatic setting for the first tune up then the uke setting to check things now and again after that. I'm sure there's nothing I can say that you don't already know about this kind of tuner, but if you're ordering your first ukulele then I'd highly recommend you put one of these in your basket too.
It works!
Small, light, cheap and gets the job done!
Quite OK for the money
Does the job quite good and can be also easily operated by a child.
Simple and Effective Tuner
My first clip on tuner and works well for the price . When tuning slight delay for the needle to settle before tuning but for the price very good and will get you going in tune .
Brilliant
An excellent easy to use tuner
Simple working Clip Tuner
The tuner works great. Turned on the tuner, fixed the tuner, tuned the guitar. Everything is as simple as possible. This tuner is great for tuning your guitar.
Tuning bug
easy to use, and does as it says on the tin
The tuner was in the kit
The tuner used the "Harley Benton DOTU UKE-S Native Skull" on the ukulele, a simple, convenient and compact tuner. I found only one negative: the sensitivity is weak, and so a good tuner for your money.
Good value for the price
Works like it should. I have bought them many in years and never have any let me down. This one I bought for my kid, who don't know how to tune ukulele.
Pros:
Good battery life.
I can use it also with chromatic mode to tune any string instrument.
Cons:
Only thing you have to know is what ukulele you have and what tuning it has otherwise you can brake you strings.
Pros: cheap and affordable, easy to use
Cons: battery runs out very quickly, if I have it stored in a gigbag it automatically turns on (pressure on the button)
Recommended use: as a spare tuner, for fine tuning it can pose a difficult problem from time to time.
clip on tuner
As a complete beginner to my new banjolele I thought I had better buy an electronic tuner as I had read that the strings will need to be retuned for the first few weeks till they bed in.
pros,
once I had figured out how to use it I find it pretty simple to tune up each time.
cons,
the instructions could be better, as a complete novice I had to search youtube to find out how to use it.
Very cheap and good tool. Small and accurate
Excellent product for the price and straight forward to use
Joe tuner
Nice little tuner, great price and it works well...good product
A decent product
I try to keep some kind of tuner on all my instruments. This is for a soprano ukulele I keep out to practice frequently. This tuner does the job it is supposed to with no problems. The only downside is that it is rather large on the instrument. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the purchase.
Nice
Reliable. Easy to use. Love the small size.
Seems to be very accurate
I got this tuner when I bought my Uke. It has three options for tuning but I use the Chromatic setting for my Uke and Guitar. The clip expands for a thicker head like on the guitar and holds solidly to both instruments. The only negative thing I have about it is, it tends to delay sometimes up to 8 plucks before it registers and is usually the wrong note. Keep plucking, it will eventually notice the string note and give it's +/- for the right tuning. I've plucked a D string for up to 15 times and it doesn't register then when it does, Reads G for a bit then comes down to D. Oh well, since I know this, I don't get frustrated. Nice little tuner.
Very cheap and usuful tool for ukulele. Small and practical.
