perfect choice for beginers

I started learning piano with this one. My experience until now is that I made an excellent choice in terms of price value. The sound is good, and after 100+ days of playing, I had the chance to test other pianos, confirming that this one has a really high-quality key feel and is very comfortable. My only downside is that one side has a small damage to the wood, but I don't know if it occurred during transport or assembly. My overall delivery experience was not the best, and I have sent a report to customer care hoping it gets fixed in the future :)

Very nice piano

This is the second piano I got, the other being a Clavinova. The sound is less bright as I was expected, but still rich and thick in harmonics - pretty much persuading (i was not interested to any of the rest extended features provided). This DP-33 was intended for my 6 y.o. son who already plays on the clavinova. When my son started playing, he noticed that the notes were not sounding "correctly as the real notes". I checked the tuning, only to discover that the default A tuning is -20 cents from the correct value. The piano offers tuning in small steps, so I was able to tune it manually (using a digital piano tuner to check frequencies) to either -3 or +3 cents (but not to 0). Overall happy to have this addition (for our summer house).

All-rounder (when paired with some good headphones)

Excellent build quality with semi-realistic key action - don't own any other digital pianos to compare it to but it's enough to maintain the illusion during play as long as you have a good set of headphones plugged in.

It has all the features and convenience of a digital piano with most of the feel of an acoustic.

Speakers aren't the best, but I tend to use headphones so this wasn't an issue. One of the speakers also died on me a few months in, which I had to get replaced.

Killer midrange piano

After some years of music training I finally bought a nice piano without breaking the bank.

Nice sound and great touch. Totally recommended

Very pleased

The delivery was really quick. We are really pleased with the piano. Sound is nice and it can be regulated. Sometimes daughter uses headphones, not to disturb the family.

Ideal for beginners and studio playing

Very solid frame and key mechanics, although they can be a little hard for beginners especially in the upper tones. The controls are ok but a display would amke things much easier. The piano sounds are standard, what I noticed though is very little sustain which is a pity.

Since you can connect it to your DAW via USB MIDI you will soon find yourself using it to record live piano with quality samples which it does very well.

Great Piano

I'm not a pro, rather a early beginner. Used it for 2 weeks

First pros:

Piano looks lovely, built well, becomes a nice piece of furniture.

Keys feel great, sensitivity is superb especially for further MIDI use.

Price

Cons:

Keys sometimes have weird inconsistency in weight, might be just me and never played on grand piano so i cant compare

Sound quality is mediocre, sample is good in treble staff range, base and lower, too loud and has weird interference at prolonged sounds. When connected to PC and using free VST piano packs the difference is well visible.

Pedals are way too high for comfortable play, need a book under the heel.

Don't get me wrong the instrument is fun, keys, sensitivity and features are great. I'm a IT person so when connected through MIDI with good VST plugin & headphones sounds superb. For someone starting its a great value for the price.

Beautiful piano

I really really like this piano. The feel of the keys is really smooth and feels high quality. The volume is great and the sound as well. The piano comes with some good features and other sounds you can play around with.

My only complaint is that the sustain on the regular piano is not the same as on a real piano (on a real piano you need more technique to not get too much intertwining sounds) which gives me a challenge when I try to play on a public piano. There is a solution for this and that is playing the Epiano 1 or 2 function which has a sustain that is more similair to a real piano.

All and all I would definetely recommend this piano. It is worth the money. Sitting behind it and just touching the keys gives me motivation to finish my daily practice.

Arrived at home almost 2 weeks ago safe and sound, very well packed. Looks really nice, simple and stylish design.

The keyboard has a really nice fill. The sound...hm...the speakers are a bit weak in my opinion, but with headphones the sound is great. Really good choice for beginners.

Good value for money

easy to install and perfect quality. Especially when considering the price range. Good value for money. I suggest to buy this combo deal. Feels like premium digital piano. Great piece of instrument and furniture as well.
