Irish whistle

Whistle comes with a case at this price point extreme value ,if a booklet of songs came with it I would rate it 5stars ,can't complain with it ,it's well made .

Beautiful instrument

I'm Irish & just wanted a little something that reminded me of home, of growing up & learning to play the tin whistle in school.

Of course it's not the best tin whistle in the world, but more than functional, and if you're looking for "that sound" then look no further.

Best Bang for Buck

Best bang for buck!

Clear tone and spot on tuning.

The second octave is a little more difficult (as compared to an expensive whistle).

Overall - a great whistle - recommended.

Great for the price

I have a few Irish whistles at this stage and I wanted to try out this plastic one to see how it sounds. It feels a little more like playing a recorder, because of the mouth piece, larger body and slightly bigger holes. I'm used to the Feadog tin whistles. It sounds more mellow and I like the sound. The high C is a bit squeaky though.

Overall, it's great to play around with and explore different timbres.

I am more used to playing a straight Nickle Tin whistle but I got this as a back up to carry around and I was corious as to what it would be like. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of it although it takes a bit more air to play it and it takes a little getting used. Once you get used to it it is great and for the price you could not go wrong.

Solid look and good sound

I always wanted some flutes around my home studio, if i have a mood for recording some folk music.

I feared this instrument becouse the other feedbacks, maybe i'm lucky one, but mine - for restarter, who played at elementary school - its working good. Its easy to play, dont need much air, two octave sounds nice, tuned well.

And its cool black!
