Excellent quality, performance, and value!

I was very impressed at the condition in which this bari sax arrived (shipped from Germany to US). It played perfectly right out of the box! It is ~2lbs (~1kg) heavier than my Conn 12m, which is noticeable, but not a deal-breaker. This bari gets a much more modern and much punchier sound than my Conn 12m. The ergonomics and response is great...its like I'm playing a big alto. This bari is so easy to play, and I continue to get comments and compliments on the sound, the look, and the ability to cut through an ensemble when necessary.

I primarily play bari sax in a big band/jazz band setting, as well as other contemporary settings. I frequently play as part of a 3-4 piece horn section in rock/funk/soul bands. This sax fits right in, and I couldn't be happier!

It is so hard to find a good, affordable, modern bari sax with low Bb. I'm glad I found this one. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of these saxophones.

one of the best baritones I've blown, and I've had a few in my 50 years of playing, excellent quality reminds me of a System 54 bari, I've gone back to the bottom Bb model because of weight, i'm getting old and the weight of the sax on my neck is a bit of a problem so this is great, I couldn't believe how good the sound is so i'm very pleased, lovely quality.
