Thomann SP-5600 Reviews
Ideal for home practice
We bought it to increase the child's interest in playing the piano at home (he learns to another musical instrument) and to develop musically. And it worked, now he spends more time at the piano: good sound, a lot of features, the feeling of a real instrument are very motivating. The volume is sufficient, including in headphones. Very-very good value for money.
Cons: The keys are a little loud. The manual could be in other languages too.
Very nice keyboard
This keyboard have everything you can expect from a keyboard. Recording, harmonize, Practicing, Style, etc.
And the sounds are very great.
Nice buy. For this price it's excellent.
Great
This is coming from a first-time player/learner.
The keyboard arrived a few days ago and I haven't stopped playing since. The keys feel great, the sound is great, and there is so many features that I haven't managed to test them all out yet. The display is also a great help for someone who is still learning.
Here is my 15-mins-after-unpacking feedback:
- The keys feels amazing. Kind of how a piano feels (on the other hand, I didn't touched too many pianos in my life, so there is that)
- Has a gazillion of sounds FX & instruments: orchestra, brass, drums, you name it.
- The sound itself is loud and clear. More than enough for a small living room
- It has a nice display that shows both of the Staffs, tho the note being played is a bit faded and it's not clearly visible.
All in all: an awesome piano.
Worth it!
I have wanted to buy an 88 key keyboard for a while now to play classical music and just relax when I get home. This keyboard has amazing sounds (which have sometimes taken out hours of my practise time in experimentation), but worth it! Enjoying every minute of play and managed to convince my girlfriend to play with me. One of the best purchases I ever made.
Very good keyboard
except - keys are every noisy, when playing with headphones the noise of the keys can be heard in other rooms in the house
Great for its price
I almost never give 5 starts, and I can't give 4.5 stars, so my 4 star rating is on the low side. Should be a 9 out of 10.
Keyboard has an almost piano like touch. This was my main reason for buying it. Affordable and weighted keys.
I have an old Roland g-800 arranger/workstation with semi-weighted keys, and from what I heard those were among the better semi-weighted keys. This SP-5600 is much better.
It also has REAL midi in- and out, and it comes with a decent sustain pedal. The speakers are suprisingly good for built-in speakers.
2 minor points: I would have liked a built in power adapter so you can use a random 230V cable, and I would have liked 2 seperate left- and right output. It only has a stereo out, so you need a splitter cable.
I'm a Piano Novice...So This Looks Good.
Pretty heavy at 13 kg, but so far no complaints. Received in perfect condition.
Great Piano
The build quality and sound quality are amazing. The sound wasn't as loud as I expected, but will do the job. Would highly recommend it.
Fantastic Value for Money
My first foray into keyboards and its wonderful. Value for money, Good true voices, Lots of things I am sure will be useful when I learn to "drive " it correctly.
I have got this since I am a beginner and wanted to practice. I have to be honest this is probably the best decision I've made. it is well made, the sounds are good. obviously I have limited experience when it comes down to pianos and digital pianos but I think if you are a beginner, this is where you should start. I will update my usage as I practice more, so far the quality and features are a clear winner.
wauw

This site is great
This site is great. Very friendly people. Quality product for best price.
excellent teaching aid
my wife and i bought this to help with music theory classes.
Keyboard with many functions
I bought this keyboard for atmospheric music. Having 88 keys gives me so much options in range and this keyboard have many beautiful sounds, from flute to organ and also piano sound is so nice.
+ Price
+ Functions (in this price range)
+ 88 keys
+ Effects built in
+ Many sounds of other instruments
+ Able to connect to PC, MIDI connection also
- Takes longer to get used to all functions
- Otherwise I can't find any negatives (owning for few months)
Best stage piano under â¬400
Everything works as expected
The Best choice for a small budget
Top notch quality for a ridiculously low price
Before I bought this keyboard, I had to do an extensive research because I had limited budget and I wanted to get the best out of it. Finally I have decided on purchasing this one. After using it for more than two months, I can easily say that this is terrific!
Pros:
Built quality is excellent and it looks gorgeous. Hammer action keys feel quite natural. It is packed with tremendous amounts of features that one cannot simply describe them all here. The pedal that comes with it is easy to use and comfortable. The tone is highly customizable thanks to its many effects settings (delay, chorus, reverb, sustain, EQ and many more). It has a large sound library where many of them are quite usable. The MIDI in/Out works just fine. Once reading through the manual, the keyboard becomes easy to operate.
Cons:
I really do not have anything bad to say about this.
Overall, this is one of the best buys that I ever had. I cannot be happier with this. It is not only a beginners product, but also a good experimentation for advanced keyboard players.
great keyboard for the price
For the rpice this is a great keyboard, the quality of the different sounds is okay to great depending on which one you choose. Feel is great and the interface is easy to understand
Excellent value for money.
excellent quality & value
Had this for 6 months now and it has been used every day, with a house of 4 people who play it is excellent for practice with headphones at any time. The keyboard touch is excellent and better than our own acoustic piano. I've use the midi functions to add backing tracks to play along to from the USB and this is straigthforward. I can only praise this instrument for excellent feaures and value.
