Keyboard with many functions

I bought this keyboard for atmospheric music. Having 88 keys gives me so much options in range and this keyboard have many beautiful sounds, from flute to organ and also piano sound is so nice.

+ Price

+ Functions (in this price range)

+ 88 keys

+ Effects built in

+ Many sounds of other instruments

+ Able to connect to PC, MIDI connection also

- Takes longer to get used to all functions

- Otherwise I can't find any negatives (owning for few months)

Top notch quality for a ridiculously low price

Before I bought this keyboard, I had to do an extensive research because I had limited budget and I wanted to get the best out of it. Finally I have decided on purchasing this one. After using it for more than two months, I can easily say that this is terrific!

Pros:

Built quality is excellent and it looks gorgeous. Hammer action keys feel quite natural. It is packed with tremendous amounts of features that one cannot simply describe them all here. The pedal that comes with it is easy to use and comfortable. The tone is highly customizable thanks to its many effects settings (delay, chorus, reverb, sustain, EQ and many more). It has a large sound library where many of them are quite usable. The MIDI in/Out works just fine. Once reading through the manual, the keyboard becomes easy to operate.

Cons:

I really do not have anything bad to say about this.

Overall, this is one of the best buys that I ever had. I cannot be happier with this. It is not only a beginners product, but also a good experimentation for advanced keyboard players.

excellent quality & value

Had this for 6 months now and it has been used every day, with a house of 4 people who play it is excellent for practice with headphones at any time. The keyboard touch is excellent and better than our own acoustic piano. I've use the midi functions to add backing tracks to play along to from the USB and this is straigthforward. I can only praise this instrument for excellent feaures and value.

Can't ask for more

Keys are comfortable but i found a bit heavy but intervals are long enough, can't compare with a real piano of course;

sound of the speaker is loud, would be nice if there's more treble;

instrument choices are more than sufficient;

it's a shame that the volume for headphone and speaker out are tied (or just me couldn't figure it out);

MIDI out works fine;

very pleased with the included pedal;

It's heavy though (might be a pro for someone)

Overall very decent product at this price, can't be happier

A great home studio instrument with usb-midi capability

I bought the instrument for learning piano, so far i used a simple dynamic midi keyboard. The SP5600 is a perfect instrument for learning, and its keyboard is almost like a real piano. The piano and e-piano voices of the instrument are all good, I do not use the other

sounds . Great for use in home mini-studio thanks to USB midi capability, thousands of virtual instruments (VSTi) are available on the Internet, so you can play professional piano and synthesized sounds, via PC, depending on your financial capacity. Built-in loudspeakers are good for playing in the room, but connected to an amplifier, external loudspeakers, it's even clearer and fuller. The user guide is not very "visual", but from the manufacturer's website, you can download the Medeli SP4200's (fully the same as SP5600) user guide, which can help you navigate through your instrument's settings with

more graphics. In general, I bought a very good quality instrument for my needs, and I strongly recommend it to piano lessons and home studios.

Very satisfied

Consulting several audio/musician friends, this model popped up several times. After purchasing it, I can understand why it's so well recommended for people on budget. Both me and my partner really enjoy the feel of the keys, and there's a lot of good sounding instruments on the keyboard. The LCD keyboard is a bit outdated, but hardly the selling point on a budget device so I didn't reduce points for this. My only complaint is lack of certain impact on the sound, so we'll definitely be buying external speakers if we want any more immersive sound out of this thing. Otherwise great purchase!

Very good as a first piano

Bought this for someone as his first full weighted piano and he was very happy with it overall. The sound is nice and the feel is good. A very good low budget digital piano
