Sorry - but I just don't get the great reviews for this product

Yes - it's basically a toy so maybe my expectations were too high but to me it sounds awful - not the lovely tight sound you get from a decent kazoo - more of an ugly rattle. One of the valve keys is stuck solid and whilst it doesn't affect the functionality it spoils the fun and whilst the desciption alludes to the fact that you can replace the diaphram - I'm pretty sure you can't !!

It looks great and is a fun idea - but the execution is poor. I also bought the trombone version and feel similar about that - shoddy sticky slide and a poor rattly sound.

Maybe I should live with it for a while. But so far very unimpressed and I so wanted to love it !

It's okay.

It seems silly to review this, but it's worth knowing about. It works, it does what it says it will do. It's not the loudest, but does have a bassier tone than most kazoos, which is a nice change. It seems a bit expensive for what it is, in terms of build quality.

Pure joy!

Bought this as a random add on instead of paying a tenner for shipping.

It may sound like going overboard to say it's a pleasure to play a kazoo, but that is what it is! Lovely mouthpiece, great sound, and has a sturdy feel to it (not cheap plastic!)

I take it into schools (where I work) or to parties or just have it sitting out in the living room and it's a hit everywhere it goes.

Totally love it.

TRUMPET KAZOO

Fun product its a kazoo that looks like a trumpet what more would a professional kazoo player want.. except maybe the one that looks like a trombone as well..

A must of mischievous musicians

Where do I begin with this thing? For starters, it's absolutely hilarious to break this out in the middle of a gig! The buttons all work so even the most cold-hearted, humourless wretch will have fun playing it.

Put it this way, it's ?15 that you will not regret spending!

I will say, this would be a truly fantastic buy if you could change the little "reed". That being said, it's not really designed for anything more than a bit of fun really...

Well..

..How much can you really say about a kazoo? Not too much. But I can tell you about how much fun this is! Absolutely worth the extra money over a regular kazoo. Every time we pull this bad boy out on stage it's an instant hit! 10/10. 11/10 with rice.

What's Not To Like??!!!

A product with the words 'trumpet' and 'kazoo' in the name? How could you possibly go wrong! I bought this for my children but it has instantly become a firm favourite of the whole family and our lives are much the better for it! Originally I was only going to give it one star for features (it's a kazoo!), but after my one year old son discovered that you can also play it backwards, I just had to up it to two whole stars! It's easy to play all your favourite hits on this, and it's beautiful tone should earn it the nickname of 'the Stradivarius of kazoos'. I recommend that every musician should own one - AWESOM-O!
