I used to string my 15y old acoustic Crafter fretless with D'addario ecb 80s

Great sound etc..for years.

At a certain moment they were not available and i took a shot trying these nylon core bronze(rounwound)strings.

Big,big surprise!! They lack in volume unamplified but once you do amplify them things become magic.

Big organic earthy upright growl with super definition.

I'm completely sold to these strings.

I'll be buying these in the future!!

I love these strings.

There is nothing else like them in the market. I use them with a Martin BC-15E. They were the second set of strings I tried and though I've tried others, these are my go to. They have a softer sound than most other strings and a low tension that works really well with my instrument, and a lovely warm sound that lasts.

Great tone and playability

These strings are the best I've found anywhere. They are bright when you want bright, they're woody and vintage when you play in an upright style, they have presence and sustain when you need it, and can handle a good beating too. I only buy these now. In a 2-piece acoustic setup, they deliver every night...I only change them once a year!

Great sounding strings

The nylon core gives a nice natural sound and the closest I've come to the sound of an upright bass on my ABG. There is also less noise moving your fingers over the strings. The only slight drawback is that they are a little quiet.

Great strings

I have cheapie cheap acoustic bass, a Chinese made Cheetah, and I have put cheap strings on it thinking for a £65 guitar it's not worth spending half the value of the guitar on strings but I could not have been more wrong. After not playing it for months because it sounded tinny and out of tune above the 5th fret I decided to take the plunge (it was that or throw it away!). The difference was immeasurable! It now has a lovely warm tone and is it tune throughout the neck. So if you have had even the most passing fancy with these strings but were put off by the cost, fear not...they reward you no end?

Great strings once you get used to them

The strings feel different to start with but you will soon get used to that. The sound is deep and full of tone. Expensive but also last well so I think they are worth the extra money.
