Great, warm sound

Balanced sound, in between steel and nylon.

There's a loss in volume compared to 'normal' acoustic strings,,

The sound quality is soft but tighter than a classical guitar.

Definitely worth a try.

Keep in mind you have to file or replace the nut since they're bigger then the normal steel-strings

well... not for everyone...

I must admit that i have played on classic guitar for years before

swap it with acoustic though the difference between sound and style of play or ability of steel strings over classic string is huge

so they are nice and relaxing but still classic ...

A relief for the fingers

My father had these on one of his vintage guitars so I decided to test them on my new steel string. Well what a relif for the fingers. Now I can play for hours withough fingers aching of pain. Put them on my 6-string banjo to. Its not the perfect sound, but still so close its worth it for getting rid of the pain in my knuckle.
