I have been debating on buying this desk for sometime. I shouldn’t have waited so long. Ordering process was great, arrived a lot sooner than expected. Yes it is one large heavy box with a smaller box accompanying it but I did manage to put the desk together myself. The main tricky part in the build process where you may need help is putting the desk top on, but apart from that with patience and a long drink next to you, you will be fine. Obviously lifting each piece from the box rather than lifting the large box to your studio or room. The desk itself is high quality. Solid well crafted finish, and when finished I actually looked upon it with pride as it just looks so good in my studio. Gives that professional look and with the cable drawer hidden on the back no more unsightly...

I've been using this desk for a few months now. My key reason for getting it was that I needed to put my master keyboard in front of me while I'm at the workstation, but still have access to smaller control surfaces, computer keyboard, smaller keyboards and so on. It meets that need for me, with no problems. It goes together well - self assembly - the instructions are slightly cryptic, but once you get your head around it, there's no problem. Just follow the assembly sequence exactly. It is heavy! It arrived on two pallets - you'll want some help moving it before unpacking. It is sturdy - no wobble or vibration. It looks nice in a very slightly utilitarian way - let's face it, the next step would probably be bespoke furniture, costing much more. The veneer finish is of a decent...

This studio desk is very well designed and thought of. The keyboard tray is very sturdy, you can play hard and nothing will shake or move. This was a major decisive requirement which led me to purchase this desk over other similar desks. I have the 88 keys NI Komplete Kontrol keyboard, and it fits just like this desk was custom-designed for it. That keyboard tray is also height adjustable. You just have to be aware that it is quite a heavy desk and the assembly will require enough room in your studio to assemble the desk. I strongly advise that you assemble the desk over a large carpet so that the panels don't get scratched and so that you can easily slide a heavy panel on the floor to avoid breaking your back. I did the assembly on my own which took me roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes...

Had this desk for over 4 years now and what can I say… It is the ultimate centre piece for my studio and I couldn’t imagine a better fit for my x32 mixer! This thing is a work of art my friends! Relatively straight forward to assemble. Only issue was the assembly manual reminded me of something you’d get from ikea so it took a little time to understand! But after some time figuring out where all the parts went I had the whole thing together in the space of an hour and a half! I couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful desk!

Just downsized from an Audient ASP console to more of a production set-up and wanted something that we could easily assemble and set-up in the studio space. The feel and quality of the product is excellent. It's extremely easy to build with all bracing parts and almost all fixings being exactly the same - what we call a "no brainer". When the Sessiondesk Oktav arrived, bearing in mind it had to travel the entire way to the South West of England, one part was slightly damaged in transit. I messaged the company and the support was incredible. I was immediately offered a new part, no questions or anything, as it was I was able to fix it easily, a testament to the design, and didn't need the part. However, Lars from Sessiondesk is an absolute gentleman and has been in...

Exactly what I was looking for, a large clean nice looking tabletop desk that could support a roll out keyboard rack. I love that it has no rack space un the desk itself. The wood is itself is nice and natural looking. Overall its just a really attractive, professional looking desk. It does flex just a little bit if I lean on it with my elbows, but other than that it's super sturdy and great build quality. There's a part in the assembly instructions which requires 2 people, which I of course ignored. You can build it alone but in hind sight 2 having an extra set of hands to help hold and balance it would have made life easier. I also ordered the optional Sessiondesk Keys Drawer. Adding that to the desk was super easy, and its a functional drawer. It also has a little flex in the middle...

The delivery for the desk went great. It came shipped in a well put together wooden crate. No damage, everything in perfect condition. The assembly and adjusting took a couple of hours and once it stands it is build like a tank. all plywood with sturdy screws to hold it all in place. Mounting the units in the racks was a breeze, with the routings in the side panels it made cable management easier than before. A cable tray underneath the backside of the desk could be a tip for future designs although it is simply solved by mounting one yourself after market. If you are looking for a desk with alot of space, this is it. With plenty of rackspace, all in comfortable reach. It can easily hold 2 pc monitors or 1 large screen. With the adjustable shelve you can configure the desk any way you...

Really great quality desk, huge space and perfect for what I was looking for. Purhcased this desk about 3 months ago, arrived swiftly (think it was 4 days) and built it in about 1.5 hours. It fits my Yamaha HS-8 speakers which are a little over the 10kg weight limit, but no movement yet although wouldn't advise you do the same as the weight limit is there for a reason. I have a focusright scarlett 18i20 that fits nicely in the rack, and the cable in the cable tray at the back. Only downside might be the width is wider at the back but I have gear and shelves on the sides so fits nicely for me. Keyboard (Komplete Kontrol A60) nicely fits with plenty of room above and to the sides. I regularly have two laptops open on the desk and there's plenty of room still.

I bought this for moving into a new house, and setting up a studio in a dedicated room upstairs. The delivery was very quick, everything came in one piece and could be brought to where it needed to relatively easy (it comes in 2 ~70kg boxes, but they can be opened and have the smaller segments removed). The construction took me a couple of hours on my own, all of the joints use metal pegs that you need to place adjacent to pre-installed wooden pegs, this slots into the other segment as per instructions and a screw screws into the metal pegs, making a very secure hold. The wood itself is very thick and durable-feeling chipboard covered in a very nice wood-effect covering, it seems like it could take a beating of extensive use! The space given has let me set up my speakers on the top shelf,...

I considered a few studio desks and finally decided on this one for a small, spare room home studio. I read many reviews and watched a few of the YouTube videos about it before deciding. First, let me say some of the negative comments about assembly are not without warrant. It is a bit fiddly to assemble, but I did it by myself in about 1 1/2 hours, but I took my time and was patient, having read the assembly instructions prior to receiving it. If you have put together flat pack furniture before, then this is not much different. But the instructions could be a little more precise about assembly, but I’ve seen worse. Once assembled, I am very, very pleased with it. It has more than enough space for my needs, and I like having a keyboard/mouse drawer which frees up desktop space. My...
