Good addition to main product

It's not at all necessary, I don't want anyone to believe that it is. However, that doesn't mean it's not good. Expands the already huge library of patterns that come with the EZ and/or Superior Drummer products. Never ever hurts to have more choices when coming up with ideas for songs.

Perfection

Toontrack Midi Packs are so good. It's always wise to go for the customisable pack that is this one. Check out the samples from their website, note down the ones that you like and put them together to make a six pack. I'm getting another right away :)

Affordable

MIDI expansion packs really get the creative juices flowing, especially when they're made by artists that I listen to on a regular basis.

Aside from the short-lived Black Friday & Christmas promo deals for certain MIDI packs, this is the most affordable way to buy Toontrack drum MIDI packs. They're always releasing new packs, so I like to have a few of these codes tucked away so I can pick up the new packs that interest me.

These packs expand what I believe to be Superior Drummer's most valuable feature, therefore my review couldn't be more positive. These midis are a great help for song writers who want a realistic, non elementary drum part for their songs.

It's also cool to jam along with these patterns, to get some new ideas for riffs and sections too.

If you use, or are thinking about using, EZ Drummer you need to get this midi pack. Whatever music you love, whatever music you play, you will find multiple midi packs full of very useable and very interchangeable, very modifiable, drum grooves, beats, fills, and even whole tracks. For the price, you can't beat(!) the amount of drum music available, nor the variety available. Quality drummers, quality drums and percussion instruments, quality producers and engineers, quality studios, and quality software. Ease of use of the software, and the installation, is industry best. And, if you are upgrading to the industry leading Superior Drummer 3, all the midi packs are just as fun and useful, you get all the same great drumming, but you get added functionality included in the Superior Drummer software. Buy it. Make music you love.

Your own selection of great midi grooves

This is item provides you with 6 unique codes in order to download 6 drum midi packs from Toontrack's website. You can then install the grooves to run in EZDrummer 2 (or Superior Drummer 2 I believe). You then get to use the loops with whichever kits or EZX kits you have installed.

You don't have to redeem all 6 at the same time, so if there is a release you're waiting for you can keep a code for later down the line. I went ahead and ordered all 6 of mine at once, as I knew what I wanted.

The drum midi packs are a great way of expanding your composition abilities using EZDrummer 2, and you can tweak each of the patterns either with the drum editor or by using the built-in functionality of EZDrummer 2 - e.g. changing the power hand or opening hit, adding more snare or kick hits etc.

Great product at a great price and I expect I'll be ordering more midi packs as well as EZX.

Awesome deal

These Toontrack drum midi bundles are awesome value. There are so many great drum midi packs available, for any style of music you could possibly want to write. The midi patterns are very natural sounding and if you're using EZDrummer 2 with its songwriting and arrangement tools you can create a really convincing drum track FAST.

There really is no drawback to these packs, and you can download the midi packs you want over time. You don't have to redeem all 6 at once, so you can keep a couple in reserve in case Toontrack release newer packs better suited to your songwriting needs. I've bought around 24 midi packs all up and will probably buy more a this price. You can never have too many midi patterns and EZdrummer's search functions make it a breeze to find the right patterns from multiple packs, also ranking them by relevance to a beat you can tap in yourself in EZDrummer 2. A total game changer when it comes to drum programming and songwriting. If for some reason you can't find an exact match to the pattern you want (which rarely happens by the way) it's very easy to use these as a solid launching pad and make a few alterations to reach the desired result.
