Best rubbers available

When I play I don't wanna limitations from my great and also expensive gongs. One rubber or one mallet, are as another instrument. The range of TTE Konklang rubbers are made in natural products, so life is limited. But I see it like if it was a pencil, when its finish it is finish. So you have a limited life, as they get dry or they are gone by the. From my point of view it is normal and fully acceptable, just could be a bit more cheap, as I have to buy them every one or two year, and I need the full range of sounds.

After all, a great tool for my set.

The whales are out!

Lovely high pitched sound coming from this rubber, almost of an eerie quality. The only defect is that it is not so easy to achieve the sound as in those rubbers with a bigger head, you really need to find the right pressure and speed of friction, and it's a hit and miss... Unless you decide to use it with a Konklang Vario, in which case it's perfectly calibrated and achieves a wonderful sound very easily.
