Great idea

What a great idea, a self lifting speaker stand.

I only use 1 x 10 speakers which are fairly light and this stand lift them up with no help from me and lowering only needs a limited level of pulling to bring it back down, brilliant.

These stands are well designed and very well made, I expect to be using them for a long time.

Not sure how I coped without these...

Best. Purchase. Ever. Makes lifting speakers to the correct height effortless. I use a pair of Yamama DBR12s that weigh around 15Kg and these stands will lift the speakers with a slight bit of help from the user. So simple to use - both raising and lowering. Compared to the old speakers stands I used, these are much more stable and confidence inspiring. Highly recommended.

Edit March 2020 Ok guys, I have been using these for a few months and there is a problem, the stands are very smooth metal, the plastic bushings are very hard smooth plastic. When you finish you gig and lower the speaker, the amount of torque required to lock the stands is crazy. You get the stand expanding in the stand bag etc, at the last gig I had to take the stand home fully extended because the 6mm wing bolt that locks the upper pole lost its thread. I have dismantled the stand and added one of these where the flimsy bolt and clamp used to be Global Truss 812Quick Half Coupler

had If you have light weight speakers these stands are great, my Yamaha dsr 15 are 60 lbs, the stands with a little vertical push do lift these cabs up high, the problem is that it takes 2 people to get these cabs up to the minimum height of the stand which sort of defeats their usefulness. I have wind up stands from which I cut 12 inches off as they too were too high for me, I can’t see me doing the same with these, as they are too dear to blow the warranty on. I’m keeping them, not using them right now, don’t tell the wife :)

these are so cool and great for those who use heavy speakers or those who want to lower the risk of back pain. watch people get confused when they lift your speaker seemingly by them selves (depending on speaker weight) on the high side for a speaker stand but can be an asset to many

hi all just got 2 of the ultimate ts 100 stands by a long way the best stand i have ever hade been doing this for 35 years would rec to all well worth the money i am very very happy you would be to lol

These stands are very good quality and very solid. The clamps grip well and feel well made. The pneumatic assist is a great feature as you can put the speaker on the stand at it's lowest setting and raise it effortlessly with one hand whilst securing the clamp with the other. Much better than the alternative of over stretching to get a heavy speaker on a tall stand or trying to extend a pole with the speaker on top while trying to get the pin in.
