Uncompromising level of reliability and quality...
Ain't no going back
Let's just say that the goal is to never visit a studio without my Apollo Twin ever again. Words can't describe the experience. I upgraded from the widespread Scarlett 2i2. I could easily buy this card again and again and again. Might be the best purchase I've ever made.
The best audio interface
The quality is just great. UAD plugins are awesome! I don't know what else to write about her. If you take it, there will definitely be no problems
Top of the line
Top of the line sound card, Amazing preamps and super comfortable hardware interface. Makes recordings super smooth and easy
Nice
Yes, what can I write here, everyone already knows everything about this card. I haven't received it yet, but it's great and that's a fact. I just want to participate in the competition, I don't have my own experience of using it yet, as soon as I get there and start using it, I will be able to do something intelligible
It is as good as I expected
It is just the best interface I could wish for!
Excellent transaction, item as described quick delivery, Thanks for reaching out to us
Brilliant AI
I'd recommend this to any upcoming producer/mucisian it's totally worth the money
The Interface that has it all
Ive had a lot of different interfaces but this one stickes out. From the quality of the interface to the software and user friendly monitor menu, everything is created with care. Its quite expensive for a interface but you get all the bang for your buck. The Unison preamp works really well for vocals and i recorded guitar and bass on it and it works flawelessly, with no latency and sounds really good, it sounds like real hardware. The plugins are great aswell, quality plugins that dont take any use of your cpu. I would say this interface can handle about 5 to 6 plugins from UA, if you want more u would need to buy a uad satelite or something. Only bad experience that i had with this interface is that when installing, it can be difficult a couple of times for you PC to recognize the interface but nothing that cant be fixed with a little searches on the web, it worked fince since! I would recommened this interface to everybody who wants a interface that can do it all, and have you record and mix music on a budget level with excellent quality for the money.
Apollo is one of the best sound interfaces
No need to talk much about Apollo Products as they offer excellent quality as always
Quality product, but UA's neglecting Windows users
Got the USB version so that I don't run into compatability issues with Windows. and it does work seamlessly as soon as you plug it in.
First thing I noticed is that it's as if I got a new pair of speakers. got some bundled UAD plugins which behave and sound very differently than pure software plugins, as if they are more natural and a little less predicted.
The cons are - UA unfortunately dones't really seem to care that much about Windows users, fact is, the twin hasn't been updated like the TB MKII, which doesn't make a huge difference besides some extra control from the device on monitoring and a talk back built in. but of course, now there is LUNA which is only supported in TB and in Macs :/
the biggest con - it won't work on a Mac, and that sounds like a pure marketing decision and not like any technical issue.
So that gets me a little sour, but overall the twin is indeed sweet :)
The best
I use it in my home studio with a Shure SM7b and the combination is awesome.
The sound is very clear even on max level.
Pros: easy to use.
mine included a few UAD plugins, Antares auto-tune and Manley voxbox.
Cons: expensive
Sounds great !!
You can really get that pro and warm sound out of this interface and it gives you the studio-quality at your home studio.
highly recommended
The best solution that provides both high-definition sound and mobility.
I am highly satisfied with this audio-interface that I have been using for the last couple of months.
What I use the audio-interface for:
- Recording of guitars, vocals and analog synthesizers.
Pros:
- For me it is perhaps the best solution that combines both high quality and mobility.
- I have done my research which is the best audio interface for me for quite long time, incl. reviewing and gathering expert opinions. I believe that the statement about its high-quality digital analog converters and pre-amps was 100% proved.
- I was very impressed with its "Hi-z" technology. The guitar recording I made was far different and really better from the standard pre-amp that other audio-interfaces I have worked with have.
- The connection USB 3.0 really minimizes latency to near zero.
- The price of the product includes free top plug-ins as a bonus that is really a great asset.
Cons:
- I cannot find any at this point.
Simply awesome!
Probably the best usb audio interface in the market! Top quality plugins! There are lots of pros that I can speak about, just do your research. Overall, I am fully satisfied with what i have. if i had to name cons i would say it's a bit pricey, but on the other hand a piece of equipment like this can't be cheap.
Decent mid entry-level device
You can go wrong with this audio interface, especially if you're travelling a lot and need a small yet powerful device.
Amazing Interface
There is not need to comment on UAD. The quality and service are unique. The product itself is totally worth the money. Pro studio in your bedroom and this end of the year deal of FREE Neve preamp in Unison mode of the DUO saves you a few bucks in case you have planned to get some hardrware preamp. USB transfer with buffer size set ia what yoi have expected.
Pandora's Box
I've come from an RME HDSP 9632 which I was very pleased with its low latency, general features, and I've used it for over 10 years. However, it was time to upgrade my Audio Interface and I've chosen this one.
Pros - General sound quality feels in somehow superior, but that might be biased for the present monitor positioning. The hardware is practical, the knob feels great and looks great as well. The UAD plugins are something else - really analogue feel!
Cons - A thing I noticed right away was by the time I opened some heavy projects, there was some "chocking" due to the buffer size. When projects got heavier, I pushed my old rme to a buffer size of 4096, however, in the Twin, the limit is set to 2048. Not a major issue, meaning I should make more use of the freeze tool. I also sensed the unit running hot in the first week I got it, (an extremely hot week with my studio reaching 30º Celsius). Luckily I have a small laptop cooler who did is work just fine, cooling the Apollo perfectly.
Conclusion: Get it! All it matters is Music, and this will be an important asset regarding your generals' sound quality. Feels great, sounds great, and the UAD plugins just seal the deal.
