As a beginner, they are perfect.

Really impressed with this drumsticks. I play really hard (so people tell me) and they have lasted really long. Also, they feel really good, not to heavy and not to light. I really like it.

Amazing

Great job done by Vic Firth. The drumsticks are lightweight and fit nicely in hands!

Great low price sticks

I bought these for use with an electronic drum synthesiser. I use them along with the Tama TCP10D Silent Tips. They have a perfect weight, and are inexpensive. As I'm not a real drummer I can't comment behind that, but certainly for use in an electronic environment they work great, and for live use they look good too.

Can't go wrong

There's a reason these Vic Firth sticks are the standard. Nice weight and length, finish is great too - you won't get splinters for a while, if at all. They're a bit heavy if you're playing jazz but for pretty much anything else, they're great.
