Good for the price

The title says it all nothing more to mention here.

Good sticks for small money

I bought these sticks to try and see if its really necessary to spend the double amount of money or even more. Its four weeks now that I use the same pair and they still look fine. Being a beginner I'm perhaps a bit soft playing by comparisson but I can't see them failing if I'd go harder. But for now these sticks seem perfect for my daily exercises and I'm waiting to break the first one.

tried 'em, like 'em (not)

I cannot share some the negative comments by some people. Even expensive sticks breaks now and then the first time you hit a cymbal, the ride bell or snare rim. I tried my first pair of VF Nova on a pretty intensive gig: not a broken stick and not more wear than I would expect from a regular 5A.

The feel is slightly different when compared the the regular 5A, balance is a bit different, but nothing I can't get used to and not worse or better.

Try them and save a dime!

Edit: ...after extensive usage I must revise my positive statement, I seem to have been very lucky with the first batch I ordered, the six oder seven pairs I ordered this year broke very easily when the music got a little louder and a little more aggressive, sorry but no more Novas for me....

Viv firth 5a nova

Great quality sticks and great price

vic firth nova are not a budget or second stick the only

difference between them and the American classic is

there may be some wood knots in the nova that the classic

don't allow but that doesn't make any difference to the playing

well recomemded
