I decided to try these sticks since I practise quite frequently, and I cant afford to buy a new pair of signature sticks every week because the taper gets worn out from being chipped by the hihat. I bought three pairs to test if they are any good for practise. The first pair seemed super light, I checked again if this is hickory, it says on the sticker it is, so what the heck. I play them and the stick broke after a week of rimshots, and this has never happened to me before in 12 years of playing. I quickly take another pair of sticks and realize its a behemot. The second stick, btw same model, weighs 10g more.

To sum it up sticks dont match in weight and are of poor quality

Get felling!

These are great! Perfect match for the Roland SPD-SX with the nylon tips!

Vic firth. so is good.

I think those sticks feel better than some others twice their price. In my hands at least. I use them on an Alesis DM10 Studio kit. For some reason I can hit more evenly with those, but I think here there is a personal preference issue.
