Durable Sticks

I use these sticks all the time, they are really durable for a 7a stick. Vic firth have come up with a good stick at a budget price. i initally bought them for practice only, but have started gigging with them as i like the feel of them in my hands and know they arent going to crack easily.... as for the grip? I use sex wax on them and it hasnt let me down yet.Fast delivery, great quality.I'm a fan of Vic Firth sticks, and these gripped ones were a must have. If you take care of them, the grip would last quite a long time. Unfortunately, they got into the hands of my younger brother, who managed to destroy the grip quickly.Despite this, they still perform like the Vic Firths everyone knows and loves. I'd probably have to buy another pair to judge the grip quality again (it's been a while), but for Vic Firth fans, these are cool. Depending on the price of the Zildjian Dip series, I'd buy these again; they seem a bit more solid than the aforementioned.

Excellent sticks,

I bought these sticks as well as a pair of milleniums cheap 7a drumsticks as I wanted to find a cheap drumstick for practising with that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg to replace regularly!

I usually use Vic Firth 7a american classic's as my go to stick for both rehearsal and live gigs. However they are quite expensive to keep replacing so I find these a great alternative..

I'll use buy these in bulk and then I'll have the more expensive american classic sticks for gigging. They are tough and take a beating without compromising on stick control, response and playability.

Great job vic firth! Thumbs up all the way!

Break very easily.

I purchased two sets of these sticks to use during practice. Both pairs broke within an hour of use. I'm not that hard of a hitter, despite the great price for these sticks, their not worth the money.

Nice for the price

I bought a few pairs of these sticks, as I saw them as a more affordable version of the Vic Firths. Although these are made of the same wood as the American Classics that I usually prefer, they feel a bit lighter. They did produce a nice tone on the cymbals, but sadly didn't last very long at all. I'm not an overly hard hitter, but I do use a lot of rim shots, and these sticks don't handle my playing nearly as well as the Vic Firth American Classic. Safe to say that I went through a pair of these after a couple of practice sessions with the band. Based on that, I would always pay the extra couple of Euros or so for the American Classics, for the sake of durability. But for the price, the overall quality of these sticks was very good. They would make a great affordable option for drummers of beginner to intermediate abilities, as well as more advanced drummers who play lighter styles.

great sticks

I got these on a whim. Looking for new sticks, figured I would give them a try. I am very impressed with them. Vic 2nds or not, they seem like they hold up even better. A little shoulder ware, but after six months on the same pair. I couldn't ask for more(other than other sizes). Great, durable, long lasting stick. Takes rim shots like a champ. Out lasted Vic's Classic black.I got them when I played a lot more back in high school and they stood up to the abuse pretty well. They do chip and splinter, but you can make these last awhile. They do have a chance of leaving black or red, (depending on what color you get), marks behind as you play. These sticks worked great for me, but I have noticed others having a lot of trouble with them. I would suggest at least trying them out and seeing if you like them.

Very highly rated by the people I buy these for, they prefer them to many much higher priced sticks
