Vic Firth 7A Nova Hickory Wood Tip 5-stars Reviews
Good for the price
Really nothing much to say, they do the job for me. They feel good and they sound pretty much the same.
Perfectly balanced drum stick
High quality drum stick, perfectly balanced, very high quality-price ratio!
Vic Firth 7A Nova Hickory Wood Tip
A very good quality stick for the money I prefer wood tip and vary my sticks depending on what style of music I'm playing these sticks are very usable comfortable good grip and so far have lasted very well I can recommend these sticks
Great sticks, good price
It's an affordable, great quality pair of sticks, nothing to complain about. Definitely will be my go-to option in the future.
One of the best choices
Love the feel of these sticks, and also the durability.
The best choice between price and quality.
Amazing product.
Cheap and reliable.
We use it only on electric drums. No complains. All good.
Fair deal
They are Not the American classics and there is a reason for that, BUT is half price and you get a decent pair of sticks for the money. Perfect for jamming and practice, I use them wile I am searching for what I finally record but I have tracks with them, oups! They are not that balanced and perfect waited as the American classics but maybe last longer. My 7A wooden tip are with me, playing not serious rim shots, already 60 hours without damage. Fair deal for sure.
Stick style
this drum stick have a style and can do a great sound
Surprisingly good..
These are Vic firths cheapest sticks but seem to be as durable as the most expensive.
Recommended for sure!
These are my go to sticks
Very solid grip , it fits my hand amazingly.
I feel like i found my perfect drumsticks and will be buying again.
Cheers
I bought it to give a birthday present to a friend who plays drum for more than 40 years. I often see him with these drum stick when we jamming together.
Nice lightweight sticks
I bought these just for practising on my home kit. Other people have come over and really hit these things hard and they haven't broken or even chipped months into use! Im really happy with these.
Excellent
Ony pros here:
- nice design
- not expensive
- easy and comfortable
Drumsticks should be just like them.
Durable Sticks
I use these sticks all the time, they are really durable for a 7a stick. Vic firth have come up with a good stick at a budget price. i initally bought them for practice only, but have started gigging with them as i like the feel of them in my hands and know they arent going to crack easily.... as for the grip? I use sex wax on them and it hasnt let me down yet.Fast delivery, great quality.I'm a fan of Vic Firth sticks, and these gripped ones were a must have. If you take care of them, the grip would last quite a long time. Unfortunately, they got into the hands of my younger brother, who managed to destroy the grip quickly.Despite this, they still perform like the Vic Firths everyone knows and loves. I'd probably have to buy another pair to judge the grip quality again (it's been a while), but for Vic Firth fans, these are cool. Depending on the price of the Zildjian Dip series, I'd buy these again; they seem a bit more solid than the aforementioned.
Excellent sticks,
I bought these sticks as well as a pair of milleniums cheap 7a drumsticks as I wanted to find a cheap drumstick for practising with that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg to replace regularly!
I usually use Vic Firth 7a american classic's as my go to stick for both rehearsal and live gigs. However they are quite expensive to keep replacing so I find these a great alternative..
I'll use buy these in bulk and then I'll have the more expensive american classic sticks for gigging. They are tough and take a beating without compromising on stick control, response and playability.
Great job vic firth! Thumbs up all the way!
great sticks
I got these on a whim. Looking for new sticks, figured I would give them a try. I am very impressed with them. Vic 2nds or not, they seem like they hold up even better. A little shoulder ware, but after six months on the same pair. I couldn't ask for more(other than other sizes). Great, durable, long lasting stick. Takes rim shots like a champ. Out lasted Vic's Classic black.I got them when I played a lot more back in high school and they stood up to the abuse pretty well. They do chip and splinter, but you can make these last awhile. They do have a chance of leaving black or red, (depending on what color you get), marks behind as you play. These sticks worked great for me, but I have noticed others having a lot of trouble with them. I would suggest at least trying them out and seeing if you like them.
Great sticks
Very highly rated by the people I buy these for, they prefer them to many much higher priced sticks
