Perfect quiet.

Perfect for playing quietly on rehearsals.

Good, light drumsticks

Like a standard 5A hickory, but much lighter :)

The balance of the drumsticks is very good. Similar to hickory 5A.

If you hit properly, you will not find a big difference between hickory and maple in durability.

The sound on cymbals is slightly softer and higher due to the lighter weight of the stick.

The sound on drums is the same (like hickory 5A).

Great quality

Most common stick and a great quality one

I tend to break a set of these every 4 months. So they're an amazing build (I'm not a soft hitter)

Light yet strong enough

Made from Maple instead of the normal Hickory of the 5A, however has stood up to my error prone hits on drum rims and lug ends well enough and are still usable after months of moderate but regular use. However signs of wear and chips at the tapers indicate nearly time for replacement.

Main benefit and difference over the standard 5A is that they are very light and therefore fast. Dimensionally they are exactly the same as a standard 5A.

Would definitely recommend, and certainly for a more skilful and accurate drummer than me, there is no reason that they shouldn't last well enough. Although I suspect a mega-heavy hitter would find them too light and flimsy.
