These headphones were a big surprise how good they sounded for audio control while drumming! The isolation is not so balanced (it doesn’t cut off that much from bass frequencies), but for this price it actually provides more isolation than I expected. The control audio volume doesn’t need to be so high this way, which is really a big deal!!!

Best headphones I've ever owned

Very comfortable even after several hours of playing. Great bass response and very clear vocals.

Satisfied with those head phones

I use them for drumming. They isolate the sound really good and the sound is ok too. Also, the sound of drums is great... the isolation makes a great EQ. I recommend those headphones for drumming on the music... They are making a perfect job!

Great product, good for playing drums while listening to music since the isolation works great!

Wear comfort is good, it fits perfectly and is adjustable but due to its high pressure for closing off your ears, it might become a slight bit annoying when wearing for more than 4 hours.

I've wear these headphones to play along with songs or for a digital metronome. I've played around 4-hour practice runs with these and am glad I bought them.

Massive improvement

The sound quality introduces, as promised, a massive improvement to the predecessor model SIH1. The bass end is still a bit thin, even eq won't help. Upper mids a bit pronounced with almost bell-like character and acoustic bleed from the ambient is a bit boxy. For the price point an amazing product which will I will certainly find plenty of use for.

Slightly uncomfortable after long use, but still worth it!

The sound insulation on these headphones is way better than I expected. Obviously there is still sound from my drums leaking into the headphones, but it is very low.

They are incredibly tight, to the point where after some time they become uncomfortable and start hurting my ears, but the tightness is necessary for the insulation they provide. They are also a little shallow, which contributes to the discomfort after a couple hours of playing. You might need to take breaks, so your ears can chill a bit.

The sound is good, they are not studio-grade headphones, but for monitoring and even casual listening to music, they do an amazing job.

Overall I am very satisfied with this product. I do believe, though, that if the cushions were a little deeper, it would have made this product 100% better in terms of comfort.

Great headphones

I bought these to use while practicing drums, they work perfectly. They fit comfortably, not too tight, but they could reduce the outside sound a little more.

Have been using them for about a week, a couple of hours a day, no problem so far. I had a pair of the older model which on which the cord broke after not too much use, so hopefully these are better.

Edit: A year and a half later, still working perfectly.

I have studio, I like this headphones for everything, because isolation is wonderful, especially for drummers, they need more and more click track in their headphones, its really useful for isolation.

These days I use them for vocalists too, for loud and hard rock type..

Drumming headset

Really comfortable, it can be used for hours. The noise isolation is really good, I used it both for e-drum and acoustic drum, and it allows to keep my hear safe, and to work flawlessly on the e-kit.

The sound is maybe not the best, but it's clear and very good

Great headphones

Bought these for my e-drums. Great isolation of outside noise, even at lower volumes. I can wear them for longer periods of time with no issues. They stay put on my head and sound great too!

Significant noise reduction and good sound but tight on the head.

I use the Vic Firth SIH2 headphones for practicing on my electronic drum set. It improves the electronic drumming experience by reducing perception of the noise of hitting the pads.

Pro:

- significant outside noise reduction

- nice, clear sound

- sturdy, good quality

Con:

- the closed system requires these headphones to fit quite tight on the head, this is not always comfortable and can lead to headaches and pain across the points of contact

Conclusion:

Good choice of headphones for practice on an electronic drum kit. Highly recommended!

Preisleistung top!

Preisleistung ist super, die Tonqualität für ca 55 € ist wirklich nicht zu bemängeln.

Komfort geeeeht aber ist gut tragbar für ne Stunde.

Ist super um mit Metronom zu üben! =)

Wow, i hoped for a good damped headphone.. And this one does it all!

It fits good on your head, and it stays there, while drumming!

I love the comfort it gives you, it just can become sweaty, because of the pressure on your head.

Very useful headset for drummers in recording sessions

Very nice headset and with good sound quality and very good isolation.

Good sound quality and noise reduction as well as being comfortable. Great for drumming along to a song or metronome. Very happy with my purchase.

I would put 6 stars out of 5. Best headset I ever used, to play electronic drums or to record guitar and bass, or just to listen to music while my hyperactive 4 years old boys screams next to me. Love it!

Epic for both electric and acoustic drumming

My only regret is not buying this since day one. Great for generic tracking but even better for drummers. Protects your hearing enough so you won't get deaf by the age of 30. Stop looking and just buy it already.

The cable breaks. I hear the same thing from other people that bought it. Not a good buy.

Everything is nice. When you wear glasses then that squeezes ears little bit.

I think I will buy 3 more of these.
