Surprised

Wow, i hoped for a good damped headphone.. And this one does it all!

It fits good on your head, and it stays there, while drumming!

I love the comfort it gives you, it just can become sweaty, because of the pressure on your head.

Amazing!

I would put 6 stars out of 5. Best headset I ever used, to play electronic drums or to record guitar and bass, or just to listen to music while my hyperactive 4 years old boys screams next to me. Love it!

Epic for both electric and acoustic drumming

My only regret is not buying this since day one. Great for generic tracking but even better for drummers. Protects your hearing enough so you won't get deaf by the age of 30. Stop looking and just buy it already.

Everything is nice. When you wear glasses then that squeezes ears little bit.

I think I will buy 3 more of these.

Great protection and decent sound

The protection is a must and this beats using earplugs underneath builders noise isolators or something similar. This product is really a no-brainer for anyone who wants to hear audio during a rehearsal or recording.

In High CP rate

the sound quality and the sound isolation are good, very kind of tight, when wearing around two hour, my head started feel a bit uncomfortable, but over all are very good !!!

Excellent product

For many years, I had been using in-ears and on top of them ear protectors (like the ones you'd use for shooting). It was very effective in terms of ear protection, but that was the only positive thing. The solution was not very comfortable and the sound that reached the ear was very "distorted", as the muffling absorbed some of the desirable frequencies from the drums.

The Vic Firth headphones are equally as effective for sound protection, but on top of that they are very comfortable and the eventual sound that reaches your ear is well balanced. Moreover, the sound quality of the headphones is above average and could very well be used as an ordinary pair of headphones.

Best headphones ever

If you are looking for drum headphones .... You couldn't fail with this product. ITS UNBELIVEBLE !

Trust me . One of the kind.

I can hear any music very clearly from my computer while playing drums really loudly, without needing more than 20 % volume on my computer. Also perfect for listening to music in a loud environment without having to increase the volume a lot to not be disturbed (by people talking, train noises, etc.) Those headphones are a bit tight on the head but I found it rather easy to get used to.

Great for recording, practicing or jamming.

Amazing for drummers

Have been using these for the last few months and i was pleasantly surprise by the quality of this product. Have been using them in reahersals, just for isolation and they work perfectly.

The sound is amazing. When listening to music, i can hear every layer of the song independently.

Couldn't wish for much more

The most closed headphones ever!

The main reason I bought SIH2 is an earprotection plus monitoring and it was the best choice for me. Once it came to me I immediately tried them in a drum practice session and I no longer needed to play softer in order to hear backing track or metronome like I had to do with my previous headphones... I was playing full power at last!!:)

Once I took them on rehearsal (used as "earplugs") it got even better. Despite the fact that SIH2 are extremely closed I was in total balance with others.

Also I tried them in mixing and well it's not a great studio headphones yet extremely useful for bass check.

One real disadvantage for me is that these headphones are really tight on my head and after an hour of use they get a bit annoying.

Overall I am satisfied with SIH2 and would advise them to all musicians (especially drummers) since its the most closed headphones I've ever tried. However, you should try them on before buying to see how tight they are on your head.

Very happy

I've been using these headphones for a few days now and very happy with them. They are comfortable with good quality sound and they block out other noise. I would recommend them for drumming.
