I've bought this keyboard bench in december 2012, when I started playing keyboards. With my Nord Electro 3 61 and a K&M 18810 stand, I had a nice, high quality setup. "Assembling" it took only one or two minutes, since all you had to do was finding a height that is comfortable for you and use a screw to fix the bench in place. However, you should be careful with that since the screw tends to get stuck a little, making it hard to adjust it afterwards. Like all K&M products, it is pretty sturdy and will probably last a few decades, a rare feature nowadays. The cushion is comfortable enough to let you play your keys as long as you want. There are cheaper alternatives on the market, but I would definitely buy it again if I ever had to.

I'm very pleased with the quality of the bench. My son of 8 years old is using it with his e-piano and I'm using it with piano and guitars. The bench is indeed very stable. There are some minor remarks, so I'll try to break it into pros and cons. Pros: - Stability. It simply doesn't shake no matter how you move. - Adjustability and easy-to-use - just a click and you have your custom height - range is good for both children (8 year old, 140 cm height) and adults (41 year old, 176 cm height). - Soft and comfy. Both me and my son like it. If feels good. I can sit and play for hours without noticing. - Price. I was suprised to know how expensive keyboard benches are. My first though - find a good second hand, but nope, it looks like they are only sold together with keyboards (not...

I wanted a bench / stool that I could use with both my keyboard and guitars. This bench is perfect for my use. Pros: It is height adjustable so I was able to get the perfect height relatively easily. It folds flat for storage, which is nice. It is well padded and very comfortable to sit on for long periods. It is very secure when unfolded. Cons: The threaded wheels take some time to lock the bench into position. Height adjustment is not very quick. So if you have to make regular height adjustments then look elsewhere. For most people height adjustment is a "set it and forget it thing so this isn't really a problem. In conclusion its a very usable bench and I would recommend it further and I am really happy I purchased it

This is the seat I chose because I'm a little heavier. And I think it was the right choice (over the a bit more affordable ones) because the seat has some advantages. - It is really stable - The seat cover is durable cloth (versus real or fake leather), which is really more friendly to sit on, especially when it is hot and you are wearing light clothes - The padding is neither too soft nor too hard, just right - The seat can be folded flat when not in use and stored beside a cupboard - Hight adjustable (Well, they all can do THAT, and the really comfortable ones with the side screw to adjust are a LOT more expensive) The one tiny minus point is the mounting screw for the X-Frame, it is a bit fiddly and leaves marks on the steel were it is (or was) mounted.

The height is ajustable by removing the centre pin and wingnut at the crossover point of the legs and putting it thought a different hole, thus allowing the legs to spread out and lower the seat. The one leg is fixed under the seat while the other clips in place and allows the seat to be collapsed flat. Four rubber tubed-feet hold the seat on my polished floor, without slipping, and the seat is very well padded. The seat covering is PVC, but of a good quality and does not sweat me. Brought one seat for the Tyros and one to go with my other keyboard I gave to my grandchildren. There is a cheaper seat, but you have to make sure it will take your weight, check before buying.
