Brilliant, Versatile Pedal

I play a full bodied jazz Peerless Monarch, with a floating Zoller pick-up & wanted an overdrive that allowed me to add some grit without losing the core sound of the guitar. The Sparkle Drive Mod is perfect - can dial in subtle, bluesy sound to full on overdrive without sacrificing the guitar's tone and feel.

The controls (gain, tone & clean) are very responsive & there is a great range of sounds with the 4 way switch.

Big plus for me is the clean dial - allowing me to control the level of od and maintain the clean sound of the guitar. That means no muddiness of lose of definition & works really well for both single lines and chords. The pedal is also quiet in the sense that there are no issues with hum or buzzing.

The look, feel & construction of the pedal are excellent - has a nice, solid, robust feel.

Excellent pedal, well worth the money!

Go-to overdrive!

I love this overdrive! I've been using it as my main drive for about 3 years and it's been a staple of my board, from Blues and R&B jam/covers bands to my fairly heavy Alt. Rock original band.

All three mods are really useable, though these days I use the 'high-gain' mod (3).

The clean blend is especially useful on the high gain mod, when your crank it it can get a bit indistinct - the clean knob ands clarity back to your sound.

Tone control is very responsive and lets me even out the tonal differences between my Strat and Les Paul with ease.

I can't recommend it enough! It's built like a tank, has every overdrive tone you'll ever need and can adapt to any genre. Why don't you own one already?
