Worth having the handwired version

If you are looking for the closest to the original wah wah sound that Clapton and Hendrix had in the 1960's, this is it.

Everything is perfect, but

Missing power input. I wish I could power it over my PSU for pedals, but it’s ONLY battery powered. It is amazing tho.

Best china hw pedal ever to be

Dunlop vs vox? Way I see it - dunlop would be more subtle wah, woah waoh kind and vox is the wocka wacka one, both are great and good quality. I have both and prefer vox because I dont play wah that often on my shows and I want it to cut through the mix.

Honestly, it`s a very nice pedal, vox realy did it again but be careful, this is HANDWIRED in China. I bought it because I was tired of choices and I wanted a unique and a quality one that won`t brake down easy but when I read it was handwired in china it just breaks my little heart. What does that supposed to mean? It`s a good pedal, I realy do like it but HW in China? Cmon.

This runs on battery and battery only, there are no holes for a cable to manage its way in there, unless you cut open a hole which I won`t do. Or you can remove the whole bottom thing and leave it completly vurneable. Take 845 or 847 if you want more power options.

this wah waj is a hidden treasure

For very little money you get one of the best budget wahs right out of the box. With info from the net I solderd some new capacitors and got a better sweep. I also put in a tru bypass swith

your classic sounding wah

not to bassy, not too trebly. if you are looking for a giant WAH sound, look somewhere else. unlike other 'boutique' wahs, it has short 'route' and extremely nice definition in e v e r y position. you can hear every single note. n o t ear piercing or muddy. it is just right. if you are tired of fasels and 'big' boutique wahs with no definition (especially at lower frequencies ) that kill audience's ears, this is your thing! ...but keep in mind that is a bit noisy compared to other wahs. if this is the pay for that beautiful tone, I can live with that!

Classic Wah

Its expensive and runs on a battery, but what a sound! Its a classic pedal with an improved pot, it gives a good tonal range and the pedal distance of toe to heel is very good. This Vox Wah V846HW tone is different to the modern digital Wah tone of other Wah pedals - a modern tone is great too, it just depends what sort of tone you are after. The sound is of this Wah pedal is 'analogue' - a rich and vocal sound with enough top to work well through the Wah filter range.

Active pickups on guitars use batteries - why? Its because that a battery is able to give a pure signal with no noise, this makes sure the pedal gives the best sound that it is designed to give.

When you look inside this pedal, to fit the battery, its a piece of art, hand wired - sheer electronic beauty.

When you have this pedal you feel part of something great and classic, the sound is great and classic.
