Sturdy and works well

Well built very easy to use and does just what is needed without being flash or over the top.

Use it with Vox vt 40plus and although everything can be done on the amp itself this makes it so much easier with "hands free2 mid song or whatever if you need to change your sound.

Not the most complecated footswitch there is but i get the idea it would last forever and it does just what is needed

Vox VFS5 Footswitch

I bought this footswitch to accomany the Vox amp i purchased at the same time.

I gig with a rock band and it was crucial that i found a pedal that could store all my effects and tones. This pedal gives you two banks with 4 different channel each. You also have a load of different amp sounds that are fantastic along with any amount of pedal sounds. It is very easy to use and set up and its really up to yourself how much time you want to put into it to get the exact sound you want.

The pedal is good, easy to operate and has a green and a red light to tell you which bank of sounds you are using at any given time, which is a life saver when you are gigging and bouncing between songs. The lead is quite long and fits into the back of the amp but having said that it could be a tad longer.

I would recommend this pedal for its simplicity and sleak look, it fits in nicely under the mic stand and lets you do your thing without worrying too much about where to go next. It's a thumbs up from me.

Awesome!

This footswitch is a great buy which makes switching between the saved sounds on my Vox VT40+ super easy! It lets you toggle through the user programmes and the different banks too. The best feature is the tap tempo ability. if your saved sound has delay, you can change the delay time with the footswitch. if your effect has modulate you can do the same thing! It's really very cool!

vox vfs 5 footswitch

this is a very solid/reliable footswitch, but as others mentioned......it would be much better with another 4 led lights to show which switch is on!! .....line 6 do---so why doesn't vox??-----hence the lower rating..........

a welcome addition to my Vox VT40+

it is a must have addition to the Vox VT series of amps. it provides instant access to the pre-set on-board effects of the amp, a very cost-effective combination.

Wish it had channel LEDs

This is built like a Tank. It is very good quality but I wish Vox had put LEDs for each channel. Also, I would have preferred if the pedal had a jack socket on the pedal itself rather than a fixed cable. This would have made it a lot more versatile as you could choose the length of the lead you required for different situations.

The pedal to go with the Vox VT+ Range

This is the pedal to go with the Vox VT+ Range. I bought this to go with my Vox Valvetronix vt40+ and I got it at the same time as I bought the amp. I thought it would be convenient to have the ability to change the settings which are saved in the memory. There are eight options with five foot buttons. The first is a bank A/B the next four are one to four.

The construction is of pressed metal and the foot buttons look like stainless steel. It is well marked out and looks of good construction. I couldn't fault it in any way. It does what it is supposed to and does it well.

Al per usual with Thoamann the buying and delivery went without a hitch. This seems to be synonymous with them. I have ordered from them many times and they have never let me down.

Could be better

As I wrote in my review for the VT20+, I use the built in effects a lot on this amp, so I thought I could benefit from this foot switch. It does what it's supposed to do, but could be better. For one, it could do with LEDs to let you know what switches you have on. I my opinion, it's a bit too big. The lead on it is huuuuuuuge. That might be good for on stage use, but in the living room, when the amp is right beside me, it's a nuisance. I actually don't use it half as much as I had hoped I would.

An absolute must...

If you have a vox Valvetronix, the you really must get this footswitch. It takes your amp into the "live" arena and gives control to your presets. It's solid and well made, and the cable is long enough for most small gigs. I have not had this for a while yet, but I see no reason why it won't last the life of the amp. 5*****
