Vox VX V847A Wah 5-stars Reviews
Just great
Clear wah sound, no issues!
VOX NOICE
So much better than ibanez, versatile
Perfect!
i recently purchased this vox pedal because i have been wanting a good wah for a long time. İ’ve tried crybaby wah pedals but i wasnt that pleased with any of them so i decided to buy a vox wah. i got the pedal and it just looks so cool just like the ones hendrix used in the 60s with a case if anyone wants to have a trip with their wah. i recomend it to everyone who wants that 60s sound to buy this wah.
Classic wah
Brighter than most other wahs from brands like dunlop. Great for funk.
Good enough for Jimi and Eric
Does what its supposed to do and does it very well.
It's a wah
Big, heavy pedal. It does what it's supposed to do. I am not afraid to put my weight on it.
Great pedal!
I love using this pedal so wah wah
My favourite
I have Dunlp 535Q, MXR MC404, and this one... I like this one the best. Less versatile, but warmer sounding. Has a better sweet spot.
What you see is what you get
The circuit of this pedal is allegedly supposed to be more or less identical to the Dunlop Cry-Baby in the same price range. I have no clue if this is true, but I have both pedals and I definitely prefer the Vox. To me, it has more "snarl" in the sweep and therefore more character than the Dunlop, which I find to be a little too bland for my taste. If you want lots of features and options to tweak, buy a Fulltone or one of the high-end Dunlops. But if you just want a "meat and potatoes" kind of wah for classic rock and blues, this will do just nicely. Especially for the money.
VERY NICE!!! Be creative...
The pedal is very well build, little bit heavy but at least stays on ground. If you want to change battery its very easy to do that. Just unscrew rubber legs (its possible with bare hands without screwdriver what i really like) and there you have it...
Well build classic for some hendrix tones. But you could use it as treble booster as well on full wah... If youre hendrix fan or even queen where brian may used treble booster you could buy this thing and boost some frequencies.
I could recommend that pedal, great quality, good price and old classic look as well :)
Vox Whah V847A
Nice Wah great sonnd very robust will last for years
Jimi knew what he was doing
Perfect pedal for looking for that unique Hendrix sound. Very well made and easy to figure out and start jamming on. Very much recommend when looking for a Hendrix or SRV sound. Essential building block when creating a all round pedal board!
Excellent
I like this Wah because it has more width.
Classic Wah sound
I love this pedal, I use it in my board (which is plugged to an AC30), and it sounds amazing. Definitely recommend!
Pros:
- Great Wah sound
- Great feel
Cons:
- Can be a bulky addition to your board
If you want a Wah pedal, this is the one.
love it
Only drawback is that I find it a little awkard to hit the bypass switch
Fit my taste
I used to have cry baby gcb 95. It has specific sound actually not for me. I need classic Jimi Hendrix\John Frusciante style sound (not John's Ibanez wh-10 because it's tone sucker) About one month usage i satisfied with it. It has tasty sound. Only the generally problem is there is no indicative light that make problem when you on the dark stage.
Overall it is nice classic wah pedal. I loved it!
Vox wah wah
This is the wah sound that I was looking for, and it comes in a nice package, and it is shiny. I didn?t notice any tone loss even if it is not a true by pass. 5 stars
Best wah pedal
This is my favourite wah pedal. I use it for classic rock, funk, and indie. It has really punchy tone, with a smooth bite. I really prefer vox to dunlop.
TRUE BYPASS. <--- Good point
Awesome Wah
A great working Wah pedal, sounds amazing, works reliably, cute and enjoyable. A very good sound wave breakthrough. Excellent value for money.
Classic Wah
A simple wah pedal, does the job and the build quality is great.
