Versatile Pedal

Summary - great pedal, highly recommend.

Both sides of the pedal are great and you can combine both sides for a more distorted fat sound.

The blend pot is a great addition to the pedals right hand side.

Great sound

What to say that hasn't been already said... Great pedal from Wampler. Overdrive and distortion in same pedal. V2 has that "mix" knob for overdrive tha I simply love! You can mix yor clean and overdriven sound which comes very hand in studio situations (you get more attack of clean sound mixed with overdrive).

Robus pedal that can survive everyday giging.

Very impressed! Superb build quality and easy to use

I watched as many demos as I could find before buying this, and I was not disappointed when it arrived! It's incredibly easy to dial in a great sound as there aren't too many controls, and the "fat" boost is great for just giving a quick and simple mid boost.

The first channel is exactly as advertised, a bright and responsive bluesy overdrive that cleans up nicely when you roll off the volume and still gives plenty of sustain. The second channel didn't give quite as high gain as I was expecting, but is still plenty heavy enough for a cranked Marshall kind of sound. It's enough bite without being so much gain that you can't hear the guitar's natural tones.

I haven't experimented fully with channel stacking yet, but from first impressions it makes an amazing sound, but gets quite noisy. I'm expecting I may need a noise suppressor if it insists on hissing like it does. Otherwise, AWESOME overdrive!
