I like these better than the new AKG ones
Done some testing with these and the newest AKG, these sound better in my book. but the old AKG is another story.
I was slightly sceptical about this purchase, but this is a very classy sounding mic. My usage of 414s would be the B-ULS models so I have n't tried the EB (which this is based on). Hopefully, the WA-14 is as durable as the classics. There's a slight lift in tops which reveals air and articulations in a pleasant manner. Rich, clean & present.
