Good sound at first, but..

I have had these strings for a while and they actually do sound very good. Though i have experienced it goes out of tune really fast. And they are weird to tune up? I had one break here the other day. Held for a pretty good time though.

The best in category price vs. quality

I usually prefer fresh bass strings for the recording sessions. This is the best choice in the price vs. quality category, to get the fresh tone in tune for an affordable price. Also, use them for a fast solution if the bass players have got any current financial issues, but the record can't wait.

Really good strings...

Something to think about - in a blind test I would never guessed the price range of these. 3rd week and I am still happy for 3 reasons: the sound still have this crispness and growl and it seems, 2. I have already saved some money and have a decent set of strings. 3. I will save even more in the future, because I am definitely buying the same next time.

A small thing - not sure if it is only my impression, but they seem a bit "rough" in touch like a steel strings. (or maybe I was spoiled with DR's and Elixirs before) Got used to it, but at the beginning had a feeling they gently bite my fingers. Not anymore anyway.

Best bang for the buck

Great strings. Sound great, no complaints. For that price, I think it's going to be my standard string.

Fresh Strings for cheap

If you are on the budget and need a good solid bass strings. Take a look at those. Need to get used a little at the fingers feeling but in the overall valuation that is positive

These strings are affordable and efficient.

I like to use them both live and in the studio to always have fresh strings without breaking the bank!

The sound is very good, they're crisp and clear.

For the price, these strings are incredible!

Highly suggested

Positive surprise

Got a pack of the strings as a backup set I actually had to use - I normally go with more expensive brands but I was very pleasantly surprised with the sounds the Warwicks deliver. Especially with this price tag,

Very very nice budget set, definitely recommend,

A fair string for a fair price.

Honestly these are exactly enough for me. Don't seem to fade after 1 month, stay in tune quite well, although Steinberger mechanics might be the x factor here. At this point, as a hobbyist I just can't justify the price of Elixirs. Use some fast fret on them from time to time and the lifespan is quite nice. Great value.

Warwik did it again

This sets really blow the air from my amps. Nice crispy sound also, if this is what you want.

And as a 5 strings player, this is 1 of 2 sets to keep with you at all time.

Sounds really good, bottom and hight end.

Best Strings for the Money

I was a bit disappointed at first, I bought these hoping they were actually red string but found them to be silver! But all jokes aside this set of strings is perfect for me, I play in mostly standard tuning and may drop the E to a D but never downtune the Low B. these are bright enough to let the full tone of the Low B through, but have enough low end to really punch through the mix and provide that beautiful thick tone everyone strives for!

The best bang for the buck in the strings field

I've used these Nickel-wounds strings a few times... I prefer the steel ones but these work well if you like a darker tone. The only gripes are they don't last too long and they can give you some intonation issue when you set your bridge up. But for the price, again. it's a bargain.

Warwick 46301 Red Strings Nickel (Review)

It's always complicated when we face the moment that we've got to buy new strings. Those will be our next friends for a long time, and they are a really important choice. Or my bass could sound like trash - No strings, no life.

The first thing I did was search some important string's marks and information about their quality. Then, video reviews were (probably) the most important part: Find the perfect sound.

I feared because this couldn't be the thing I thought it was, because, as everybody knows, internet reviews might be fake.

In the case of these "Warwick 46301 Red Strings Nickel" I can surely say that I am really glad with this acquisition! No disappointments found!
