Great strings, pure and bright

For few months now using these strings. Really nice, good punchy sound, don't hear any quality loss.

Awesome

They sound good for their lifetime. You can get away with changing strings twice a year.

They are pretty pricey though, but worth it.

Great long lasting stainless steel strings

These are one of my favorite strings. The main advantage of this strings is longevity without sacrificing brightness and feel of uncoated strings.

Many coated strings feel different, slicker, and sound less bright out of the box, but these don't. They are quite bright and a bit rough on the fingers, just like the uncoated stainless steel strings, and that is something I like for some reason - just a bit more grippy texture compared to other coated strings. They feel raw. They last quite some time, I've had them on one of my basses for almost a year now, and they sound almost exactly the same as when I put them on (bear in mind that I have several basses, ie not all of them get played all the time, so ymmv).

Some different brands may last even longer and better withstand heavy sweat, but they have a thicker coating which makes the string sound duller, and it changes the feel of the string. In the end it's up to the player to decide what is the priority when choosing strings.
