Warwick Gnome i Pro 4-stars Reviews
Very good Bass Amp head for starters!
So i got this amp head about 8 months ago, it has served me well but with quite a few drawbacks
Pros: Pretty solid sound for the size and the price
The built in eq gives a nice tonal variety
It has an xlr port which also helps when recording
Build quality is top notch pretty much all aluminium
Cons: Built in Auidio Interface did not work for me even after some thorough examination of the manual
Mine started buzzing quite a bit over time while in use
Thats about all i have, i still use this amp head and i am pretty satisfied with the functions.
Dud? good clean sound. started sizzling loudly after a month.
i suspect something is not wired correctly in this amp. i didnt experience any problems in the start and have only had it indoors without moving it around. its not been subject to any blows or falls. It recently has started fizzling loudly. i figured out i could put something heavy on a small area on the top that didnt block the fan exhaust and it would go quiet.
Great amp
I bought this amp for practicing as my smaller practice amp wasn’t kicking out enough volume in the practice room. I’ve paired it with the 1x12 4ohm cab and this is now well on top and does everything I need. The cab does sometimes start to break up on my 6 string on some of those low notes but I was only testing the amp and pushing it when this happened. My normal set up is a P style bass and this set up is fine. I would only change a few things for this to be a perfect 5 for me. One is a compressor controller, as this would help me sculpt my dynamics a little. Also a speakon output would have been awesome for the cab rather than the Jack. This however, has a lot packed into a small box and for the money it’s amazing. My guitarist wants one now, but there’s nothing on the market for him at this price. We bass players are lucky!
