Great sound but awful finishing

As soon as I got it I thought it wasn't properly finished. Then I looked at the pictures, and that was it: the neck is not lacquered and the saddle is raw. My bad I didn't check that before. It's weird but it's fine. What was really annoying was the frets. You couldn't even bend the strings without feeling and hearing the noise of friction, that's how poorly the frets were polished; which was even clearly visible especially in the last ones. With sandpaper 400 and 1200 I got them to work. Having said that, tuners are decent, the sound is very good and so are the octaves, so it is still a good purchase all in all.

A very good guitar for the novice guitarist, for a small price!

Yamaha C-40 guitar.

This guitar is what it is, a very good starter student guitar and very good value for money. The built quality is adequate but not up to Yamaha usual quality, again I would point that @ 111eu it is very good value for money.
