Yamaha KU100 Silent Kick Pedal Reviews
It performs it's function
Works well and is a solid pedal - I doubt you would ever need to replace it
Solid kick pedal
This pedal's build quality is very solid. Not noisy, it's pad really absorbs the sound of kick. Works well with Alesis Multipad, comes with cable.
Does the job and well
Works wonder with my Nord Drum3p
Good silent pedal
It does what you want it to do. However, the feeling is not the best (it is my first electronic kick pedal, so I also do not have another reference).
I use it with my Yamaha DTX Multi 12 and it works perfectly.
Pros:
- Silent
- Lightweight
Cons:
- "Feeling"
- Doesn't have a carpet adherent surface, which can be helpful so it doesn't fly around
Low volume
When connected to Kat KTMP1 one has to hit it very hard to get adequate sound level..
Goeie prijs-kwaliteit
goeie feedback, ideaal als instap kick-pedaal
Good enough!
For the price, you can't ask for more.
The only real problem I have with it is that the spring seems to lose strength very fast. But its nothing that can't be fixed easily by getting a new spring. There are some youtube tutorials on that.
All and all, its perfect for practice, but I wouldn't necessarily rely on it for live shows. I've used it with a Roland SPDX and it works great!
pretty decent
its been couple of weeks of heave use of silent kick pedal and my impressionas are follwoing:
+ it is silent
+ with some practise it allows to play at different dynamic levels
+ it's compact and easy to carry
- response far from real, too soft I would say
but taking into account price I find it great deal
Not Transferable?
Didn't work with my Roland kit. Is it only able to work with Yamaha electronic drums? It's just a contact maker so what could be the problem? I've just clicked on stars to be able to send this message - since it didn't work at all, I couldn't review in stars.
